A Hotshot Driver in the oilfield industry plays a crucial role in transporting equipment, materials, and personnel to various locations, often on short notice. Operating specialized trucks equipped with trailers, these drivers ensure the timely delivery of essential supplies and support services to drilling sites, production facilities, and other oilfield operations. This role demands a high level of professionalism, reliability, and adherence to safety regulations to meet the demands of the dynamic oilfield environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Safely operate CDL-class vehicles, including trucks with attached trailers, to transport equipment, tools, and materials to designated oilfield locations.</li><li>
Secure cargo properly using appropriate tie-down methods and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>
Plan efficient routes to optimize fuel consumption, minimize travel time, and ensure on-time delivery to multiple destinations.</li><li>
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns.</li><li>
Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing the operation of commercial vehicles, including hours-of-service regulations and weight restrictions.</li><li>
Maintain regular communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on job status, delays, or issues encountered during transportation.</li><li>
Respond promptly to emergencies or breakdowns, following established protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment and minimize downtime.</li><li>
Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly, including trip logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports, to maintain regulatory compliance and facilitate record-keeping.</li><li>
Interact professionally with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing courteous and efficient service and addressing any concerns or inquiries.</li><li>
Promote a culture of safety by following safety procedures, participating in safety training programs, and encouraging safe work practices among team members.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Required Skills:<ul><li>
Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker) required for the operation of commercial vehicles.</li><li>
Demonstrated skill and high level of experience in operating heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including backing up, maneuvering in tight spaces, and navigating challenging road conditions.</li><li>
Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices related to commercial driving and transportation of hazardous materials.</li><li>
Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluids, changing tires, and troubleshooting minor issues.</li><li>
Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations, such as adverse weather conditions or equipment failures, to ensure the safety of personnel and cargo.</li><li>

Education Requirements:<ul><li>

Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Successful completion of CDL training and attainment of a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A Hazmat, Tanker) is mandatory.</li><li>
Completion of safety training programs, such as defensive driving courses, hazardous materials transportation training, and DOT compliance training, is highly recommended.</li><li>

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Side Dump Driver to transport materials to and from construction sites. The Side Dump Driver will be responsible for operating a side dump truck, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering materials safely and efficiently.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Side Dump Driver typically does not have supervisory responsibilities. However, they may be required to provide guidance and support to new hires or less experienced drivers.
Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Safely operate a side dump truck to transport materials, such as gravel, sand, and soil, to and from construction sites.</li><li>
Load and unload materials using the side dump mechanism, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of the load.</li><li>
Inspect the truck and trailer before and after each shift to ensure that all systems are in good working order and that the load is properly secured.</li><li>
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to traffic laws.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.</li><li>
Complete required paperwork, such as delivery tickets and logbooks, accurately and on time.</li><li>
