Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our team. The Junior Buyer will focus on raw material purchasing and order tracking. In this entry-level role, you will review order acknowledgements, track orders while monitoring for timely delivery, and update the sales team regarding delays. The Jr. Buyer is responsible for following up with suppliers, creating purchase orders, and maintaining purchase order information.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Initiate inventory/processing requisitions to support Supply Chain and Sales initiatives</li><li>Evaluate offers and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers/vendors</li><li>Generate and manage purchase orders in ERP system</li><li>Review all order acknowledgements to ensure 100% accuracy of order details</li><li>Track and coordinate incoming shipments from suppliers</li><li>Maintain and update team logs for open POs, RFQs, supplier NCRs, incoming vessels, etc.</li><li>Monitor and update open orders to ensure timely delivery and transparency with all teams</li><li>Collaborate daily with sales, operations, and finance teams</li><li>Complete any other projects as assigned by your manager</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain or Business-related field</li><li>Computer literate with Microsoft Excel proficiency</li><li>Detail-oriented and able to successfully multi-task</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) a plus</li><li>Personifies Tube Supply's values of Excellence, Loyalty, and Fun</li></ul>This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in procurement.
