<div><p>The Afterhours Fleet Manager is primarily responsible for dispatching, scheduling maintenance, and building trusting relationships with Tucker Freight Line&rsquo;s drivers.</p>

Friday - Sunday, 9:00 am - 09:00 pm and Monday, 6:00 am to Noon</p>

Leads, directs, and dispatches a team of professional CDL Class A drivers</li><li>
Manages daily service requirements, including daily phone calls and client relationships</li><li>
Manages all transportation and logistics for shipments to customers</li><li>
Integrates our transportation services seamlessly into our customer&rsquo;s supply chain</li><li>
Ensures safety guidelines are adhered to properly</li><li>
Monitors transportation costs and target areas that yield improvements and cost savings</li><li>
Provides strategic planning to support customer&rsquo;s regional expansion</li><li>
Provides accurate and timely reports</li><li>
Works closely with vendors</li><li>
Maintains vehicle compliance with DOT and Tucker Freight Lines Safety Standard</li><li>
Schedules maintenance services with vendors</li><li>
Embraces our commitment to safety as a core value</li><li>
Maintains high profile accounts</li><li>
Services and builds relationships with customers/drivers</li><li>
Evaluates the profitability and efficiency of the fleet</li><li>
Drop lot yard checks using different software</li><li>
ELD training(for themselves and to teach drivers)</li><li>
Answers all inbound calls</li><li>
Contact drivers that are late or need to leave the house</li><li>
Tracking and managing loads and driver&rsquo;s locations</li><li>

Afterhours Fleet Manager

<p>The Operations Manager - Planning will play a critical leadership role in overseeing day-to-day operations of our local fleet and planners. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective fleet utilization while leading and developing planners to optimize scheduling, routing, and customer service delivery.<br/></p><p>Duties/Responsibilities:<br/></p><p>Lead and mentor the planners to create efficient schedules and routing plans that meet customer needs and maximize fleet productivity.<br/>Partner with customer service and sales teams to align planning with service commitments.<br/>Implement best practices in fleet management, planning, and dispatch operations.<br/>Manage dispatch to pick up and deliver loads to customers and vendors on time<br/>Track freight numbers to ensure all trucks are moving and accounted for<br/>Ensure accurate information is in the system by the team frequently monitoring PTAs (projected time of availability) and ETAs (estimated time of arrival)<br/>Coordinate with TFL&rsquo;s maintenance department to schedule repairs and services as needed<br/>Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and service improvement.<br/>Embrace and enforce our commitment to TFL&rsquo;s core values &ndash; Safety, Service, Positive Attitude, &amp; Respect<br/>Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports<br/>Handles discipline and termination of employees as necessary<br/>Support strategies that improve driver retention<br/>Performs other duties as assigned<br/>In-depth knowledge of the trucking industry, and commercial motor vehicle operations<br/>Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire teams<br/>Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft word, excel, etc.<br/>Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills<br/>Must be a self-starter and have a positive, &ldquo;can-do&rdquo; attitude<br/>Travel to other terminals as needed<br/>Proven experience in planning commercial motor vehicles<br/></p>

Operations Manager - Planning

<p>The Dispatch Operations Manager is responsible for building trusting relationships with their fleet of drivers and dispatchers. You must lead by example, encouraging and enforcing communication between all departments for the most efficient outcomes. Train the team how to effectively and empathetically communicate with drivers. Training the team to work as one and continually improve each of these categories will result in the overall success of the team and position.<br/></p><p>Duties/Responsibilities:<br/></p><p>Lead and direct a team of dispatchers, drivers, and trainers<br/>Build strong and trusting relationships with dispatcher and driver while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor<br/>Manage dispatch to pick up and deliver loads to customers and vendors on time<br/>Track freight numbers to ensure all trucks are moving and accounted for<br/>Ensure accurate information is in the system by the team frequently monitoring PTAs (projected time of availability) and ETAs (estimated time of arrival)<br/>Maintain TFL&rsquo;s securement standards by monitoring load securement emails and coaching drivers with discrepancies<br/>Coordinate with TFL&rsquo;s maintenance department to schedule repairs and services as needed<br/>Work closely with Driver Managers and cover their boards as needed<br/>Manage time off requests for dispatchers and drivers<br/>Embrace and enforce our commitment to TFL&rsquo;s core values &ndash; Safety, Service, Positive Attitude, &amp; Respect<br/>Review driver payroll ensuring it is accurate and fair<br/>Handles discipline and termination of employees as necessary<br/>Support strategies that improve driver retention<br/>Performs other duties as assigned<br/></p><p>In-depth knowledge of the trucking industry and commercial motor vehicle operations<br/>Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire teams<br/>Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft word, excel, etc.<br/>Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills<br/>Must be a self-starter and have a positive, &ldquo;can-do&rdquo; attitude<br/>Travel to other terminals as needed<br/>Embraces teamwork and appreciates problem-solving in group environments<br/></p>
