<div><div><div><div><div><p>Tulsa Inspection Resources is growing our Billing team and is seeking a detail-oriented <b>Billing Clerk</b> to join our Tulsa office. This position is primarily responsible for compiling and verifying billing data, calculating rates, fees, taxes, shipping charges, and other applicable costs to prepare accurate customer invoices. The Billing Clerk will also prepare and submit invoices to customers' Accounts Payable departments, ensuring timely and accurate billing.</p><p>
This position has the potential to be <b>hybrid</b>, with the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays following successful onboarding and training.</p><div><p><b>
PRINCIPAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)</b></p><ul><li>
Prepare bills and invoices, calculate sales tickets and charge slips, and verify billings against accounts receivable ledger.</li><li>
Process changes in information system to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close. Ensure proper closing process of workbooks.</li><li>
Prepare billing information and verify any changes to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.</li><li>
Input and process transactions into electronic accounts receivable and billing systems.</li><li>
Answer customer billing questions and troubleshooting billing issues and inquiries.</li><li>
Create, administrate and organize all requested paperwork for current clients.</li><li>
Utilize and maintain integrity of inventory and item lists within.</li><li>
Generate invoices and monthly billing.</li><li>
Perform data entry using word processing, spreadsheets or database commands and format material as required.</li><li>
Interact with departmental and other staff on matters affecting data and publications flow and make recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection and retrieval.</li><li>
Process customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to supervisor for resolution.</li><li>
Process backup reports after data entry.</li><li>
Provide support and backup to Accounting department.</li><li>
Perform filing and copying.</li></ul><p><b>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES</b></p><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Intermediate Excel skills required.</li><li>
Minimum of 1-3 years of general accounting experience.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate across functional lines.</li><li>
Strong clerical skills including filing, sorting, and data entry.</li><li>
Productive work habits including attention to detail, follow through and the ability to prioritize and complete work activities in an efficient and effective manner.</li><li>
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.</li><li>
Knowledge of Excel and Windows at an intermediate level.</li><li>
Demonstrated professionalism, judgment, and discretion in working with sensitive information.</li></ul><p><b>

Billing Clerk

<div><p>Responsible for completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.</p><p></p><p><br>

PRINCIPAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><div><ul><li>
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.</li><li>
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.</li><li>
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.</li><li>
Reimburse employees by receiving and verifying expense reports.</li><li>
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.</li><li>
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.</li><li>
Maintains historical records and maintains files of supporting documentation in NetSuite and other accounting systems.</li><li>
Assist with company credit card program, including tracking approvals, coding, and reconciliation in NetSuite</li><li>
Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.</li><li>
Assists with the annual preparation and distribution of 1099&rsquo;s</li><li>
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.</li><li>
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.</li></ul></div><p></p><p><b><br>

Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred</li><li>
