Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture was awarded the Manhattan Tunnel Project, part of the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). A $1.18 billion design-build contract from the Gateway Development Commission for the HTP which aims to enhance rail resiliency by adding two new tracks between New York and New Jersey and rehabilitating the storm-damaged North River Tunnel. The project includes designing and constructing twin 30-foot diameter, 700-foot-long tunnels under the Hudson River, connecting to existing tunnels beneath Hudson Yards, and an access shaft at 12th Avenue, later serving as a ventilation facility.

As a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer at Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture, reporting to the Quality Control Manager , you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and execution of the quality management plan for tunnel construction projects.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist in implementing the project-specific Quality Management Plan in alignment with company policies and industry standards.
</li><li>Perform routine inspections and audits of construction activities, materials, and processes to verify compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
</li><li>Document and report non-conformities; support the coordination of corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with the Quality Control Manager.
</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, test results, and compliance reports.
</li><li>Support the preparation of quality assurance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure quality standards are understood and followed throughout all phases of construction.
</li><li>Communicate with project teams regarding quality issues, ensuring prompt resolution and continuous improvement.
</li><li>Assist in the delivery of training and toolbox talks related to quality control procedures and standards.
</li><li>Stay current with applicable codes, standards, and best practices related to tunnel construction.
</li><li>Participate in project planning meetings and reviews, providing input on quality-related matters.
</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
</li><li>5 or more years in Quality Assurance, Quality control monitoring construction activities
</li><li>Experience in collecting, analyzing, and testing field samples
</li><li>Experienced monitoring concrete pours
</li><li>Experience producing reports to document test results and project activities
</li><li>Previous experience inspecting concrete steel reinforcement and form work.
</li><li>Certification such as CQA or CQE is a plus but not required.
</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
</li><li>Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation tools.

</li><li>Collect, enter, review, and post craft time card data
</li><li>Maintain union stamp inventory and distribute stamps weekly as required.
</li><li>Monitor and prepare invoices for SWAC and other applicable Security Clearance Agencies
</li><li>Compile certified payroll and monthly EEO reports.

<ul><li>Process receipt of materials against Purchase Order.
</li><li>Prepare cost blocks and batches to forward to project Controller for review.
</li><li>Track and prepare monthly accrual for job supplies, permanent materials and equipment.

<ul><li>Maintain subcontract file at jobsite
</li><li>Work with division office on maintaining current insurance certificates
