DESCRIPTION:
As a Superintendent at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
<ul><li>Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
</li><li>Assume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).
</li><li>Assume responsibility for compliance of crafts and subcontractors with contract documents, efficient use of materials &amp; equipment, and timely performance of the project schedule.
</li><li>Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
</li><li>Assist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.

<ul><li>Support Site Specific Safety Plan.
</li><li>Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.
</li><li>Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>Four (4) year Engineering, Construction Management or similar degree from an accredited institution desired. , HS or equivalent required.
</li><li>20 years of field supervisory experience to include at least 10 years in a Superintendent role on projects valued at 200 million or above.
</li><li>Experience in new building and/or structure construction including piles, concrete, structural steel, etc.
</li><li>Knowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
</li><li>Experience with City, State, Federal Government Clients preferred
</li><li>Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft
</li><li>MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid
</li><li>OSHA certification, First Aid Certs
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal skills

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with expertise in steel structures to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of steel-related projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. This role requires strong technical knowledge of steel materials, fabrication, and erection processes within large-scale civil construction projects.
Job Description:
<ul><li>Manage and coordinate steel-related engineering activities throughout project lifecycle, from design through fabrication and erection.
</li><li>Review and interpret structural steel drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
</li><li>Collaborate closely with design engineers, fabricators, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues and optimize construction methods.
</li><li>Prepare and review engineering calculations, material take-offs, and steel quantity estimates.
</li><li>Conduct site visits to monitor steel installation progress, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations.
</li><li>Coordinate procurement of steel materials, ensuring specifications and delivery schedules are met.
</li><li>Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans related to steel structures.
</li><li>Support project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting with a focus on steel works.

</li><li>Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Engineer in civil construction, with a strong focus on steel structures.
</li><li>In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, erection, and related codes (e.g., AISC, AWS, Eurocodes).
</li><li>Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent.
</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
</li><li>Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.
</li><li>Experience with large infrastructure projects involving steel bridges, industrial buildings, or heavy civil structures.

Position Summary: 
 
The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site concrete construction activities. This role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The Concrete Superintendent works closely with project management, subcontractors, and field personnel to deliver high-quality concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee all phases of concrete construction including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and finishing
</li><li>Plan daily and weekly work activities and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials
</li><li>Supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
</li><li>Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and site inspections
</li><li>Review project drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
</li><li>Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve field issues and maintain schedule
</li><li>Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on schedule and productivity
</li><li>Ensure proper installation of formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and concrete placement
</li><li>Manage quality control and inspection processes
</li><li>Maintain site documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, and material tracking
</li><li>Participate in project meetings and collaborate with other trades to avoid conflicts
</li></ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>7+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
</li><li>Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems, reinforcement, placement, and finishing techniques
</li><li>Experience managing large-scale commercial or civil concrete projects preferred
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills
</li><li>Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
</li><li>Proficient in scheduling and basic construction software tools
</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related degree preferred
