 Duties of the jobholder (within the area of responsibility):
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Pre-Inspection Planning and Preparation:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Monitor daily schedules and email communications for newly assigned site inspection activities
 
 
 &middot; Conduct a comprehensive review of all project documentation, including technical drawings, bar bending schedules, and construction details relevant to inspection stages
 
 
 &middot; Prepare Inspection Reports (INR) with complete client and project information before site visits
 
 
 &middot; Establish client communication 24 hours in advance of scheduled inspections to coordinate timing and request required documentation
 
 
 &middot; Verify availability of current approved construction drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications
 
 
 
 
 
 
 On-Site Inspection Activities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Execute comprehensive physical site inspections in accordance with established protocols and safety requirements
 
 
 &middot; Conduct detailed visual assessments of construction work and collect photographic evidence for all required inspection points as specified in INR checklists
 
 
 &middot; Verify construction compliance against approved drawings and technical specifications
 
 
 &middot; Identify and document construction deviations, including structural discrepancies, missing reinforcement, improper installation, and workmanship deficiencies
 
 
 &middot; Communicate identified deviations to clients during inspection and advise on required corrective actions
 
 
 &middot; Ensure all photographic evidence is properly catalogued and stored in designated project files
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Documentation and Reporting:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Prepare and issue appropriate inspection reports based on site conditions:
 
 
 &middot; INR reports for compliant work or minor deviations corrected during inspection
 
 
 &middot; Schedule revisits for multiple minor defects requiring correction
 
 
 &middot; Issue RD5 reports for major deviations requiring formal documentation and stakeholder notification
 
 
 &middot; Submit comprehensive daily reports to the project deliverables database via AppSheet
 
 
 &middot; Provide daily status summaries to the Team Leader via email, categorizing inspection outcomes and scheduling requirements
 
 
 &middot; Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspection activities and findings
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Client and Stakeholder Communication:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Maintain professional and effective communication with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
 
 
 &middot; Provide technical explanations and guidance regarding inspection requirements and compliance standards
 
 
 &middot; Coordinate revisit schedules when corrective actions are required
 
 
 &middot; Ensure timely notification to the Team Leader for major deviations requiring escalation
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualification / minimum requirements (Education, work experience, other skills, etc.):
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in (civil/construction) engineering
 
 
 &middot; Experience: Minimum 3 years in civil construction inspection
 
 
 &middot; Professional Registration: Current registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers
 
 
 &middot; Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction practices, materials, and quality control procedures
