What We&rsquo;re Looking For:

We are currently hiring a full-time Human Resources Generalist. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and HR administration. 

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting our employees and driving HR initiatives that align with our company&rsquo;s goals and values. 

Work Location: On-site at our Pasco, Washington Location

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h2>

Recruitment and Onboarding:
<ul><li>
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.</li><li>
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and extending offers.</li><li>
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.</li></ul> 

Employee Relations:
<ul><li>
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.</li><li>
Address employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.</li><li>
Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and activities.</li></ul> 


Performance Management:
<ul><li>
Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.</li><li>
Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.</li><li>
Identify opportunities for performance improvement and employee development.</li></ul> 


Training and Development:
<ul><li>
Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.</li><li>
Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, enrollment, and tracking of training activities.</li><li>
Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements as needed.</li></ul> 


Compliance:
<ul><li>
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.</li><li>
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.</li><li>
Assist in conducting audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.</li></ul> 


HR Administration:
<ul><li>
Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as employee data management, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance.</li><li>
Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.</li><li>
Support special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.</li><li>
Support payroll functions as needed.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul> 


Required Skills, Education, Certification and Qualifications:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 


HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. 


Bilingual English and Spanish required. 


3 to 5 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR generalist functions. 


Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. 


Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 


Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. 


Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. 


Ability to interpret data, labor law, policies, and other compliance information. 

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. 


Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; listens and gets clarification; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings. Writes clearly and informatively; edits spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively. 


Works with integrity and ethically, maintaining a high level of confidentiality; upholds organizational values. 

Multitasks and shifts priorities multiple times each day, meeting demands of others as needed. 


Is consistently at work and on time. Extended hours and days are typical during processing season. 

Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

Essential Physical Abilities:</h2>

Ability to sit at an office desk with sufficient vision and physical dexterity to use PC desk top system for up to eight hours. 


Ability to use standard functions of office equipment (PC, calculator, fax, printer, scanner, copier, smart phone, etc.). 


Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds for use in day-to-day job functions. 


Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permit the employee to have access to various work sites throughout the facilities. 


Ability to travel to other TCF company locations for training or meetings may require overnight stay on rare occasions.
