You will use your strong attention to professionally paint recently vacated apartments to help prepare them for rent to new residents.</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
The How&hellip;</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
You get to use your one year of general maintenance experience to prepare all paintable surfaces in the unit (including patching, sanding, and priming where needed), neatly and cleanly paint prepared surfaces, and complete clean-up and touch-up work before the move-in date.</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Since you enjoy painting living spaces, you focus on producing a professional-level paint job in every unit. You understand how to use the tools and equipment to complete paints with minimal touch-up work and mess. Two to four hours for touch-ups and eight hours for the entire painting of a unit (depending on unit sizes and color changes) are baselines for what you like to get done in a day.</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

You will work full-time, Monday through Friday.</li><li>
While we provide equipment and supplies to complete most work orders, you must maintain your own tool kit to complete work orders. Occasionally, you may need to use either a company-owned vehicle (or your own) to move about the property or to pick up supplies off-site. Therefore, you must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license to be effective in this position.</li><li>

New employees accrue 40 vacation hours in the first year and earn paid sick leave per state requirements*. Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting in a commercial, residential environment preferred</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license to operate company-owned vehicles or to utilize own vehicle for work</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Physical Requirements</b></h2><ul><li>
Expected work hours: 7:30 to 5:00, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends</li><li>
Travel: Occasionally, may need to drive a company-owned or personal vehicle for business</li><li>

Able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds; occasionally needs to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds</li><li>

You will use your four-plus years of experience in property maintenance (either in a residential or hospitality setting) to address work orders before issues escalate into major problems. You&rsquo;ve done light carpentry, are experienced with minor electrical or plumbing repairs, and aren&rsquo;t afraid to work on HVAC systems.</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
You are interested in growing your career and have obtained one or more relevant certifications so you can take on more complex repair and maintenance work using your EPA, CPO, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications or technical degrees that this property needs.</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
You want to positively impact people&rsquo;s lives by proactively addressing routine maintenance and the general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse.</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
