Role:
The Service Advisor serves as a welcoming point of contact for members and plays a vital role in delivering accurate and efficient transactions while providing outstanding service that reflects our commitment to our members. This position processes routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with credit union policies and procedures. This role goes beyond transactional duties by actively listening to members, identifying opportunities to inform and connect them with relevant credit union products and services that benefit their financial well-being. The Service Advisor directs members to a Relationship Advisor when more in-depth financial assistance is needed.

Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Posts transactions accurately to member accounts and maintains confidentiality of member information.</li><li>
Reviews member accounts to refer credit union products and services that will benefit the member; completes cross-sales.</li><li>
Assists with reconciling daily transactions ensuring cash, checks, vouchers and recylcers match system records. Assists with cash recyclers and the vault as needed.</li><li>
Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning credit union services; directs members to appropriate departments for specific information.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all regulatory programs including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control Program and Customer Identification Program. Assist other department personnel and performs other duties as assigned. Remote employees must adhere to their agreed-upon work schedule from a secure location, participating in virtual meetings, video conferences/other communications, and maintaining regular, responsive communication during working hours.</li></ul>
Performance Measurements:<ul><li>
Consistently provide friendly, professional, and member- focused service, ensuring members feel valued and supported. Actively listen to members, assess their needs, and provide clear helpful solutions that align with The Tyndall Way &ndash; Standards of Excellence.</li><li>
Ensure accurate daily cash drawer balancing and proper closing procedures as part of routine daily operations with minimal outages as established by Balancing Standards.</li><li>
Maintains a working knowledge of the credit union's products and services.</li><li>
Conducts daily transactions with minimal errors.</li><li>
Complies with all established policies and procedures.</li><li>
Informs management of any suspicious activity ensuring compliance with established regulations.</li><li>
Completes required annual BSA/AML training with a passing grade of 80% or higher. Completes required Red Flags Program requirements to include documentation of discrepancy resolution as needed.</li></ul>

Requirements:

Experience:<ul><li>
One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.</li></ul>
Education:<ul><li>
A high school education or GED.</li></ul>
Interpersonal Skills:<ul><li>
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.</li></ul>
Other Skills:<ul><li>
Good communication skills. Able to type, use computer, credit union software, and general office equipment including 10-key calculator. Requires basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, abilities for assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned is required.</li><li>
