Tyto Athene is searching for a detail-oriented and customer-focused temporary <b>Senior</b> <b>Personnel Security Analyst</b> to support our security operations program in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in personnel security support service who is looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with federal security regulations while delivering high-quality experience to employees, candidates, and stakeholders.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li><div>
Perform data entry and administrative support services in an eﬀort to manage and track background investigations and security clearance information for agency personnel. Tasks include entering/updating information into secure government systems and helping ensure records are accurate, complete, and processed on time.</div></li><li><div>
Creates the initial security record within the agency&rsquo;s security case management and tracking system.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with the initiation and tracking of background investigation for submission to DCSA.</div></li><li><div>
Reviews security forms (SF-85, SF-85P, SF-86) or completion and accuracy.</div></li><li><div>
Verifies sponsorship within USAccess and ensures individual schedules and attends their enrollment appointment.</div></li><li><div>
Validates scheduling of the investigation and issues security approval notice.</div></li><li><div>
Provides weekly status updates to the agency&rsquo;s personnel security leadership.</div></li><li><div>
Provide administrative assistance for the handling, control, logging and status-tracking, ﬁling, and disposition of background investigation reports;</div></li><li><div>
Perform personnel security support functions and assist with ﬁngerprinting (includes scanning ﬁngerprints into LiveScan), initiation of background investigations, requesting additional information, and processing clearance veriﬁcation requests;</div></li><li><div>
Review background investigation reports and provide assessments of their adequacy, accuracy, and completeness in light of relevant security guidelines;</div></li><li><div>
Determine the adequacy and completeness of background investigations and developed or collected data/information; valuate the authenticity, veracity, and pertinence of data/documentation obtained from a variety of sources;</div></li><li><div>
Request additional investigative actions or develop useable information as needed to render a well-informed decision; processing requests for additional information on security packages and following up on correspondence received;</div></li><li><div>
Using the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) system, to review security forms for HUD applicants or existing personnel;</div></li><li><div>
Uploading applicable documents into NBIS;</div></li><li><div>
Conducting investigative checks such as but not limited to PIPS/CVS checks, credit checks, FBI ﬁngerprint checks, FBI Name Checks, NCIC checks, and selective service registration checks;</div></li><li><div>
Answering general security processing inquiries and forwarding complex inquiries to the appropriate agency Personnel Security Specialist;</div></li><li><div>
Preparing memoranda, reports and other reference documents;</div></li><li>
Advising the Personnel Security Specialist when a candidate has failed to provide the requested information; reviewing monthly organizational reports for data integrity, assisting with data reconciliation as required; properly safeguarding sensitive information to include, but not limited to, Privacy Act Protected Information, Personally Identiﬁable Information (PII), and Classiﬁed National Security Information up to Secret Level.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<div><b>
Required:</b></div><ul><li>
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret Clearance and/or Tier 5 favorably adjudicated investigation due to the handling of personally identifiable information and sensitivity of issues disclosed.</li><li>
3-5 years&rsquo; experience in processing investigations utilizing NBIS/eAPP, CVS Central Verification System and USAccess</li><li>
3-5 years&rsquo; experience in customer service, reviewing of forms and making recommendations to the government</li><li>
Working knowledge of 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM)</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion</li><li>
Customer service mindset with strong communication skills</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>
3-5 years of relevant experience</li><li>
Knowledge of and ability to meet agency timelines and skilled in prioritizing competing tasks while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>
Strong writing skills to include experience and acumen in crafting analysis of data collected</li><li>
Experience understanding exceptions codes, such as waivers, conditions, and deviations.</li><li>
Understand difference between suitability determinations and security clearance determinations.</li><li>
Experience creating, managing, and closing cases in appropriate security systems of record.</li><li>
Excellent written and oral reporting skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and customers across geographically dispersed sites.</li><li>
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li><li>

Desired:</b></div><ul><li>
Experience supporting government or defense contracting environments</li><li>
Familiarity with security systems such as DISS, NBIS, or similar platforms</li><li>
Basic understanding of clearance processes (Secret, Top Secret, etc.)</li><li>
Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field</li></ul><div><b>

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is between $55-$60/HR. Tyto Athene is searching for a <b>Network Specialist</b> to support our NE&amp;S contract at Camp Lejeune, NC The Network Specialist ensures that the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Health Agency (DHA) LAN/WAN provides all required services, by supporting the network infrastructure with on-site troubleshooting and problem resolution.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Provides daily operational support for the LAN core and edge switches across the medical network campus</li><li>
Resolves technical issues associated with network and routing protocols at all levels of the OSI model utilizing diagnostic and network administration tools</li><li>
Provides overall network infrastructure support to routing and switching equipment, firewalls, and associated cabling</li><li>
Plans, installs, and supports hardware and software upgrades, and resolves associated technical issues</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Required:</b></div><ul><li>
Clear understanding of OSI Model Layers 1-3, to include TCP/IP, VTP, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and EIA/TIA cable standards</li><li>
Must be familiar with firewall and VPN technologies</li><li>
Strong network experience maintaining switches and routers, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN problems</li><li>
Good knowledge of general security methodologies</li><li>
Must have strong oral and written communications skills</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline and 3 years related experience, or;</li><li>
Completion of certification program at a technical or vocational school and 8 years related experience</li><li>
Compliance with DoD Directive 8570.01 &ldquo;Information Assurance Training, Certification, and Workforce Management required</li><li>
Security+ CE certification required</li><li>
Current CCNA, or Juniper/Brocade equivalent, desired</li><li>
