Located in Chelsea, NYC, Gym U has a strong community of members and staff, and by working here, you will become part of that environment.We are looking for someone who loves fitness and people, is looking for a place to grow and develop professionally, and wants to be part of something bigger than just a regular caf&eacute;.Compensation includes an hourly rate plus tips.Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve fresh smoothies and coffee - Operate equipment and blenders - Ensure all ingredients are properly washed, peeled, and cut - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juicing station - Assist customers in selecting the right smoothie based on their preferences - Handle cash transactions using the POS system with accuracy - Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of the products - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hoursSkills: - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and ability to follow recipes - Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously - Ability to handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy - Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.- Smoothie Lounge/Cafe Management experience is a plusJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $17.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
