This job does not require enlistment in the Army.Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. This role is critical in providing emergency response services, including firefighting and medical assistance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to public safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.Duties<ul><li>Respond promptly to emergency calls for fire suppression and medical assistance.</li><li>Administer first aid, CPR, and basic life support to individuals in need.</li><li>Assess patients&rsquo; vital signs and provide appropriate care based on established protocols.</li><li>Operate firefighting equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all regulations.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles to ensure readiness for emergency response.</li><li>Participate in training exercises and drills to maintain skills and knowledge in firefighting techniques and emergency medical procedures.</li><li>Assist in community education programs regarding fire safety and emergency preparedness.</li><li>Perform heavy lifting as required during rescue operations or when handling equipment.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>EMT experience is preferred, with a valid EMT certification.</li><li>Knowledge of first aid procedures, basic life support techniques, and CPR certification is essential.</li><li>Experience with commercial driving is a plus, as this role may require operating emergency vehicles.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge related to firefighting equipment is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of rescue operations or equipment handling.
