 Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Human Resources Management, located in Washington, DC.  Duties
 
 
 
 Joining Customs &amp; Border Protection (CBP), Business Process Solution Division you will utilize your expertise in coordinating and maintaining application software and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This position starts at a salary of $143,913.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $187,093.00 (GS-14, Step 10). GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. Typical duties will include: Coordination and maintenance of application software and systems to support CBP's Human Resources information needs in standing up and maintaining automated HR process management capabilities within CBP. Systems design: develop requirements for user needs, and based upon said requirements, develop workflows that improve and control critical human resources and system-based business processes. Process improvement and/or automation: performs function-by-function, element-by-element data reviews and analyses of the HR processes, operating procedures, and systems to recommend more efficient processes, and, follow through with said implementation.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Developing workflows that improve and control critical human resources and system-based business processes. Analyzing, streamlining, and automating HR processes through the use of advanced software development tools and platforms, including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and ServiceNow. Aligning technical processes with human resources management principles, ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of automated HR systems. Designing, developing, and maintaining human resources information systems, to include artificial intelligence technologies and/or and comprehensive data governance frameworks.
