Are you tech‑savvy and interested in the legal industry? U.S. Legal Support is hiring Digital Reporters to help create the official record of legal proceedings such as depositions and hearings.
No prior experience is required&mdash;we provide structured training and certification support to set you up for long‑term success.
 Location: New York - See below:<div><div><div><div>
Location Requirement: Must reside in Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Queens, New York. Candidates living outside of these boroughs will not be considered.</div></div></div>
 Schedule: Hybrid &ndash; Client Sites | Monday&ndash;Friday 8:30-5:30</div> 
Training &amp; Certification: 
Hired candidates will complete Digital Reporter training prior to start date.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Legal Reporting (Training Provided): Administer oaths and participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings in office and professional settings.</li><li>
Technology Operations: Transport, set up, and operate computer and audio equipment for in-person and remote proceedings.</li><li>
Document Preparation: Prepare audio files, exhibits, and related materials for transcription.</li><li>
Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks when not assigned to legal proceedings.</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>
Tech‑Savvy: Comfortable working with computers, software, and audio equipment - MUST HAVE</li><li>
Typing Skills: Minimum typing speed of 55+ WPM (typing test required)</li><li>
Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Notary: Ability to obtain a State Notary Commission (assistance provided; existing Notary is a plus)</li><li>
AAERT Certification: Training and certification provided prior to start date</li><li>
Valid state issued drivers license, reliable transportation and required automobile insurance</li></ul>
