Brief Job Overview
Use exploratory data analysis to spot anomalies, understand patterns, test hypotheses, or check assumptions. Apply various Machine Learning (ML) techniques to perform classification or regression tasks to drive business impact and address identified needs in an agile manner. Utilize natural language processing techniques to extract information and improve business
workflows. Interpret and communicate results clearly and concisely to audiences with varying backgrounds and degrees of technical understanding. Develop and define data science workflows appropriate for projects and the team. Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities where machine learning can add value. Collaborate with other data scientists, data engineers, and IT team to help ensure project delivery and success. Present Insights and Data Model results to business and scientific stakeholders.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master&rsquo;s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems Management, Information Technology,
Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, and three (3) years of related
work experience.
Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:
<ul><li>Data Science, advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistics;</li></ul>
<ul><li>Building and deploying machine learning models using xgboost and decision trees;</li></ul>
<ul><li>Using statistical techniques for forecasting;</li></ul>
<ul><li>Advanced technical proficiency in the following: python/packages, pandas, numpy, regex, scikit-learn,</li></ul>
xgboost, visualization packages (such as matplotlib, seaborn, or plotly), and SQL;
<ul><li>Building dashboards using Tableau or similar platform;</li></ul>
<ul><li>Data extraction and scraping;</li></ul>
<ul><li>Translating stakeholder needs into technical project outputs;</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ecommerce Analytics on online store fronts, inventory, and item category.</li></ul>
Must have two (2) year of experience with/in :
<ul><li>Utilizing natural language processing techniques for text classification.</li></ul>

Brief Job Overview
This is an onsite position supporting the important work of USP&rsquo;s microbiology operations manufacturing function within the microbiology business unit. The incumbent will work with the team primarily focused on the production and support tasks related to the production of microbial Analytical Reference Materials (ARMs) and reference standards. Successful applicants will anticipate and solve problems within their area of responsibility, keep meticulous records, and have good communication skills.
This position is with Stratix Labs, a wholly owned subsidiary of US Pharmacopeia. Employment will be through Stratix Labs, based in St. Paul, MN, with Stratix benefits and governed by its policies and procedures.

The Production Laboratory Technician has the following responsibilities:
<ul><li>Reference Material Production: Directly engage in hands-on production activities of USP Analytical Reference Material.</li></ul>
o Perform microbial reference material production activities according to established SOPs.
o Perform incubations, serial dilutions and enumeration of microbial samples.
o Prepare materials for production including sterilizing components, preparing media, assembling component packaging, and material qualification.
o Ensure equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to SOPs and test methods.
o Ensure production space is properly cleaned and maintained according to SOPs to ensure quality of production events.
o Fulfillment of finished goods Analytical Reference Material products.
<ul><li>Documentation &amp; Compliance: Ensure meticulous and accurate documentation of all relevant paperwork.</li></ul>
o Adhere to all regulatory compliance regulations for good documentation practices.
o Ensure robust record keeping for production activities.
o Update logs and categorize documents.
o Assist QA/QC with production investigations.
Who is USP Looking For?
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:

<ul><li>Laboratory experience, including pipetting and aseptic technique.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Knowledge of use of USP Compendia (Monographs, General Chapters).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of FDA regulations, other Compendia, and ICH guidelines.</li></ul>

Compensation
Base Hourly Range: USD $29.54 &ndash; $36.87 per hour.
Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.
