ABOUT THE JOB: </b>The primary role of the Reliability Engineer is to improve asset/capacity reliability through the elimination of repetitive failures, technical support of the maintenance function and the management of appropriate Preventive and Predictive Maintenance processes.</div>
<div>
Act as an advisor to the production departments, providing proactive leadership, direction, single point accountability and technical expertise required to achieve and sustain optimum reliability, maintainability, and useful life for sugar manufacturing assets.</div>
<div>
 Essential Duties:</div>
<ul>
<li>Act as a site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Reliability activities.</li>
<li>Perform Pareto analysis on uptime/production losses; monitor and evaluate asset bad actor lists from OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) reports.</li>
<li>Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).</li>
<li>Provide Loss Elimination plans from RCA&rsquo;s, ensure the plan&rsquo;s approval and facilitate its implementation.</li>
<li>As an integral team member and in a hands-on manner, work closely with client departments to find, progress and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability.</li>
<li>Perform studies on equipment failures and present solution(s) to management. Prepare diagrams, drawings, charts, calculations and reports for defining reliability problems and recommending solutions.</li>
<li>Advise and provide training in and implement SAP PM Module (CMMS).</li>
<li>Manage reliability data, work order failure code analysis, maintenance of the asset hierarchy, bills of materials, technical library, etc.</li>
<li>Perform PM optimization: implement changes to equipment maintenance plans based on failure modes, historical data, reliability principles and best practices.</li>
<li>Manage the results of Condition Monitoring Functions: manage and optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs including systematically defining, developing, monitoring and refining the preventive/predictive maintenance process in pursuit of optimization.</li>
<li>Ensure that Predictive Maintenance technologies (e.g., oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic, electric motor testing, etc.) are correctly applied on sugar manufacturing assets.</li>
<li>Facilitate Equipment Criticality strategy formulation and ranking sessions.</li>
<li>Conduct FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).</li>
</ul>
<div>A Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution is required. The preferred candidate will have 10 to 20 years of related experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, similar to ours &ndash; Sugar, Oil/Gas, Power Plant, Chemicals, Pulp/Paper, bulk food, etc.). A Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) with a very hands-on approach will be preferred.</div></div></div>

<div>The E&amp;I Manager is a salaried exempt position responsible for managing the electrical and instrumentation maintenance functions. This critical leadership role involves direct management of engineers, supervisors, and the indirect oversight of bargaining unit hourly employees. The manager will lead efforts to maintain safe and efficient E&amp;I operations, utilizing key performance indicators to guide, plan and execute key objectives. Active participation in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S, and lean manufacturing programs is essential to meet operational goals.</div>

FUNCTIONS</b></h1>
<ul><li>Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment according to company specifications.</li>

<li>Engage in all safety training sessions, safety classes, pre-shift meetings when necessary and obtain any necessary certifications.</li>
<li>Proficient with Rockwell HMI and PLC systems.</li>
<li>Handle after-hour plant electrical issues on a rotating schedule.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report any issues.</li>

<li>Direct E&amp;I maintenance operations to ensure quality services aligned with job schedules and specifications.</li>
<li>Develop and administer plans for effective material and labor usage.</li>
<li>Successfully participate in and complete all periodic Company designated safety training, supervisory and management skills training and/or certifications related to the position.</li>

<li>Maintain asset management systems to enhance equipment performance and reliability.</li>
<li>Lead problem-solving strategies and supervise key performance objectives execution in the mill.</li>
<li>Mentor supervisors/engineers to enhance their management skills and foster employee engagement.</li>
<li>Encourage a behavior-based crew-led safety process.</li>

<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a regionally accredited university.</li>
<li>Minimum 8 years of supervisory and or management experience in E&amp;I maintenance, preferably in a similar industry.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of precision E&amp;I maintenance techniques and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).</li>
<li>Experience with troubleshoot/design high voltage AC (138KV, 13.8KV, 4160V, 2400V) and medium voltage AC (480V, 277V, 208V) systems in an industrial environment.</li>
<li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions.</li>

Essential Duties</b>:</div>
<ul>
<li>Adhere to all Company and other safety, health and environmental protocols and regulations.</li>
<li>Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery in the plant, prioritizing activities based on operational needs and machine criticality.</li>
<li>Supervise and lead a team of Reliability Engineers, Reliability Technicians, Vibration Analyst and Non-Destructive Testing Technician, assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance to build a highly efficient team. Conduct performance and progressive disciplinary actions with direct reports as needed.</li>
<li>Develop and implement reliability plans that support ongoing operations and product development.</li>
<li>Ensure all reliability activities are conducted in compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and environmental policies. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce adherence to safety regulations</li>
<li>Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.</li>
<li>Create and manage reliability studies and life data analysis on applicable equipment.</li>
<li>Ensure the necessary reliability testing is carried out and analyzed.</li>
<li>Coordinate activities with teams of engineers and other personnel to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could affect plant or business operations.</li>

Qualifications</b>:</div>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in a supervisory maintenance role may be considered.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in Reliability supervision, preferably within industrial operations.</li>
<li>Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as predictive and preventive maintenance practices.</li>
<li>Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop personnel</li>

Will regularly be exposed to caustic chemicals, electronic magnets, and pressurized steam, and will occasionally access enclosed/confined spaces; may be fitted for and wear a respirator.</li>

<div>Project Engineer is expected to be able to develop a project from an idea to a scope definition that includes a PFD, a P&amp;ID, a written description of the project, and a cost estimate for the project. With time the engineer will initialize projects, become the technical resource for operations and maintenance and be able to commission and train. FUNCTIONS</b></h1>
<ul><li><b>Project Management:</b> The major area of accountability will be oversight and management of engineering projects from concept to completion. The engineer shall be responsible for ensuring the projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.</li>
<li><b>Design and Development:</b> This is the area where the project engineer working with other department teammates such as the process engineer, the reliability engineer, the maintenance manager or lead as well as specialty products, environmental and packaging engineers etc...to assist in the design and development of engineering solutions to improve operations and reliability fucusing on efficency and safety. This may often be non-capital modifications but the project engineer input is essential for consistency and functionality. The person may be the lead or a participating team member.</li>
<li><b>Collaboration:</b> Work closely with other departments, including operations, maintenance, and safety to coordinate project activities. Demonstrate a customer-focused approach with discipline, attention-to-detail and teamwork.</li>
<li><b>Technical Support:</b> The project engineer should be an active participant in providing technical support to the operations and maintenance teams. The results should be improved root cause analysis and proper resolution to engineering issues that arise during the daily operations of the refinery.</li>
<li><b>Compliance and Standards:</b> The project engineer must ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, including environmental, health, and safety guidelines. This does not mean project engineer is the resident expert in these areas but rether solicits the necessary information from the internal and external sources.</li>
<li><b>Budget Management:</b> On assigned projects the project engineer needs to propare budget estimates for projects, monitor spending, and control costs. The estimates shall be supportted by proper scope definition which include a project scope, a PFD and/or P&amp;ID&rsquo;s depending on the complexity of the project.</li>
<li><b>Documentation:</b> Prepare project documentation, including schematics, operations manuals, and safety guidelines. Ensure all documentation is kept up-to-date.</li>
<li><b>Vendor Management:</b> The project engineer must have regular contact with vendors on delivery, quality and compliance to Savannah&rsquo;s requirements and with on-site contractors the engineer must ensure they meet contractual obligations and maintain high standards of workmanship. When the work is outside the engineer&rsquo;s expertise he must solicit the support to ensure these tasks occur properly.</li>
<li><b>Innovation and Improvement: </b>The engineer must continuously seek to improve processes through technological innovationand efficiency initiatives. The engineer is a necessaary part of the design team involving process changes from physical changes to procedural changes.</li>
</ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></h1>
<ul><li><b>Educational Background:</b> Typically requires a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, preferable in chemical or mechanical or highly developed with experience and specialty training. Experience over an engineering degree and some experience requires the person to have a minimum of 10 years&rsquo; experience with at least half of it in sugar factory operations.</li>
<li><b>Experience:</b> Prior experience in project management and engineering within a manufacturing, industrial, or refinery environment is highly advantageous.</li>
<li><b>Technical Skills:</b> The engineer shall have at least a basic level of proficiency in using engineering software and tools including Auto Cad, project management software, equipment sizing programs that includes pumps and piping as well. Steam utilization and proper design considerations is critical to long term improvements in the factory performance. Knowledge of the sugar refining process or similar industrial operations would be beneficial but expected to be developed interally.</li>
<li><b>Analytical Skills:</b> Strong analytcal and problem-solving skills to effectively handle project management challenges.</li>
<li><b>Communication Skills;</b> This is one of the most critical qualifications.The engineer shall have excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for interacting with various stakeholders and proparing effective reports.</li>
<li><b>Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: </b>Strong leadership skills to manage teams and projects effectively. Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with theam members and other departments.</li>
