What You&rsquo;ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Supervise the daily performance of drivers to ensure each driver operates according to TTMS policy and procedure, DOT rules and regulations. Responsible for the following related to the supervision of TTMS drivers:
<ul><li>Responsible for the general welfare of a driver while he/she is over the road. Supervises driver performance to ensure proper balance is achieved with business needs and driver needs; makes recommendations for performance documentation and terminations. Responsible for addressing issues and disputes for drivers.</li>
<li>Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner</li>
<li>Manage driver and make capacity availability by maintaining seated truck count, accurate driver PTA&rsquo;s, keep driver turnover down. Ensures drivers and equipment (i.e. fleet maintenance programs, etc.) are performing as necessary to provide on-time service.</li>
<li>Approve driver&rsquo;s home time requests and serve as a liaison between the driver and Load Planning to ensure freight is available for the drivers to get home on time.</li>
<li>Contact each new driver assigned to Driver Manager&rsquo;s fleet via phone call. Allow open discussion to determine driver&rsquo;s needs and clarify Driver Manager&rsquo;s expectations of driver&rsquo;s performance.</li>
<li>Establish company performance objectives with drivers and monitor performance. Perform annual performance review with each driver in fleet.</li>
<li>Route drivers to terminal in order to address any performance or safety issues. Lead the conference by addressing issues with driver and establish ways to resolve. Document all issues and resolutions.</li>
<li>Document any issues that may lead to disciplinary action or termination. Make recommendation as to the action needed to resolve the issue, including write-ups and terminations.</li>
<li>Ensure driver compliance with all company policies and Maintenance BPM; act as liaison for drivers with issues concerning other departments.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Provide instructions to drivers on where to pick-up and deliver loads; may decide when to assign deadhead miles and approve out of route miles.</li>
<li>Ensure on time service is met; address possible service issues in a timely manner while coordinating with Customer Service and Load Planning departments. Repower loads as needed.</li>
<li>Promote safe operations by monitoring and insuring driver&rsquo;s participation in all safety related training, Idelic trends and score, hours of service compliance, HazMat, HVL/Homeland Security Compliance and drug testing compliance. Reminds driver of the importance of operating truck safely. Route in drivers that need to meet with Safety on prior/current issues.</li>
<li>Maximizes revenue per tractor through appropriate equipment utilization.</li>
<li>Seek appropriate guidance from leadership on matters that could negatively impact TTMS financially.</li>
<li>Insure fuel and routing compliance.</li>
<li>Meet or exceed utilization expectations of the fleet by verifying the status of all drivers and addressing any service alerts.</li>
<li>Advise driver how to route truck if weather conditions are bad or if having health related issues.</li>
<li>Provide accurate and detailed information regarding directions, load information, pick-up/delivery times and other special load related information.</li>
<li>Accurately input load and driver related information into the system.</li>
<li>May assist in planning loads for drivers on dedicated accounts.US</li>
<li>Verballing drivers on designated loads.</li></ul> 
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:

Education
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty or related field.</li>
<li>Experience in the transportation industry a plus.</li>
<li>AS400 experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Skills/Certifications
<ul>
<li>Intermediate interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills required; ability to exchange information effectively and tactfully, moderate degree of tack and diplomacy when dealing with others and handling sensitive issues.</li>

What You&rsquo;ll Do:
Tests, services, and repairs trailers and related mechanical components.
<ul><li>Perform in-depth diagnostics and repairs to brakes, suspension, air system, lighting system, suspension and all body panels etc.</li>
<li>Act as mentor and assist Trailer Tech I and II when needed.</li>
<li>Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion.
</li><li>May require diagnosing complex mechanical, refrigerant, and electrical problems related to all Reefer systems (single &amp; multi-temp), including engine, cooling, heating and on board computer modules.</li>
<li>May require repairs and diagnostics on starting and charging system, complex cooling and re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes. Repairs include performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, rebuilding throttling valves, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporator/condenser replacements and front main engine seal replacements.</li>
<li>Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.</li>
<li>Pull trailers in and out of shop using yard jockey before and after repairs.</li>
<li>Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion.
</li><li>Perform basic or minor repairs and inspections on brakes, tires, wiring etc.</li>
<li>Perform basic and routine preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers</li>
<li>Check vehicle fluids (transmission, oil, windshield wiper, antifreeze, etc.).</li>
<li>Perform vehicle preventative maintenance (PM&rsquo;s) as outlined in USX PM guideline&rsquo;s</li>
<li>Change vehicle tires.</li>
<li>Grease mechanical parts.</li>
<li>Clean and maintain work area on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Maintain a high productivity level and complete jobs within or better than SRT times.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For: 
Education
<ul><li> High school diploma or equivalent required.</li></ul> 
Experience
<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience of working on trailers required.</li>
