Schedule: </b>Full-time Night Shift- 7pm- 7am</li><li><b>
Work Location: </b>UAB St. Vincent's Chilton- Clanton, AL.</li><li><b>

What You Will Do:
<div>
Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned area.</div><ul><li>
Assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shift. Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.</li><li>
Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given.</li><li>
Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.</li><li>
Responds to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.</li><li>
May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.</li></ul>
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:</div><ul><li>
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li><li>
ACLS and PALS may be reguired in some units (Step Down, ED and ICU) within 6-months of date hire or transfer.</li><li>
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.</li></ul><div>
Education:</div><ul><li>
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and professional licensure/certification required. 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required</li></ul>
