EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<br>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration or related field, and one (1) year administrative/clerical experience required. An equivalent combination of education/experience may substitute for degree requirement. Prior supervisor experience in a healthcare setting preferred.<br>

Supervisor Office Operations - Psychiatry Clinic

<div>Position Overview:
<ul><li><b>Department:</b> Neurology trained, Required Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology.</li><li><b>
Schedule:</b> 7on/7off, Onsite and Call Required for Weekdays and Weekends during shift</li><li><b>
Practice Environment</b>: Access to MRI and advanced Imaging, EEG and neurodiagnostics. Provides coverage for stroke in ED. Collaboration with medical staff.</li><li><b>
Work Location:</b> UAB St. Vincent's East</li><li><b>

What You Will Do:<div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></div><br>

Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.</li><li>
Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.</li><li>
Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.</li><li>
Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.</li><li>
Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.</li><li>
Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.</li></ul>
What You Will Need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:</b></div><ul><li>
Licensed Graduate Doctoral Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.</li><li>
Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.</li></ul><div><b>
Education:</b></div><ul><li>
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.</li></ul>
