<div>The Bartender is responsible for delivering an outstanding bar experience by crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar. As a key team member, the Bartender contributes to the overall guest experience and plays an essential role in promoting the Ugly Dumpling brand.

Pay Range: Hourly base wage + Tips 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>
Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and ensure an exceptional bar experience.</li><li>
Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, bubble tea and other non-alcoholic drinks, with consistency and attention to detail.</li><li>
Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and menu knowledge.</li><li>
Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction.</li><li>
Accurately mix and prepare drinks according to Ugly Dumpling&rsquo;s recipes and standards.</li><li>
Ensure proper garnish preparation and presentation for all beverages.</li><li>
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.</li><li>
Adhere to all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws and regulations.</li><li>
Monitor and maintain proper stock levels for the bar, including restocking and inventory management.</li><li>
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and closing procedures accurately.</li><li>
Work closely with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service.</li><li>
Participate in pre-shift meetings and collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals.</li><li>
Assist in training new bartenders or barbacks as needed.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting preferred.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.</li><li>
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.</li><li>
Knowledge of local, state, and federal alcohol service laws.</li><li>
Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.</li><li>
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.</li><li>
Must have a reliable schedule and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as required.</li><li>
Compliance with Ugly Dumpling&rsquo;s dress code and personal appearance standards.</li></ul>
