 Purchasing Manager &ndash; Project Purchasing
 
 to join their team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role will lead regional project purchasing initiatives within a global automotive supplier, supporting sourcing strategy, supplier development, and RFQ execution across a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 Purchasing Manager &ndash; Project Purchasing
 
 role is a hybrid position with 3 days per week onsite in Farmington Hills, MI. This is a client direct hire position.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Purchasing Manager &ndash; Project Purchasing Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead and manage a regional purchasing team (including remote team members across multiple locations)
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive project purchasing activities across the full lifecycle, including RFQs, sourcing, and supplier selection
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee project portfolios within thermal systems (HVAC, engine, and cabin heating/cooling)
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and execute sourcing strategies across regional and global supplier networks
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Program Management
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage supplier relationships and support supplier development initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Balance multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize SAP and purchasing systems to manage workflows, reporting, and procurement activities
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Purchasing Manager &ndash; Project Purchasing Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 7&ndash;10+ years of purchasing experience within a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong project purchasing and RFQ experience
 </li>
 <li>
 SAP experience required
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience leading teams, including remote or regional teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Background in global and regional sourcing initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Jaggaer (or similar sourcing/workflow tools) preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Thermal or HVAC product experience is a plus
 </li>
