 Bowhead seeks a Graphic Designer/Photographer to support the Office of Corporate Communications at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide design and layout support, text processing, page mark-up, graphic scanning, large and small format printing, sign marking, engraving, mounting &amp; laminating, and any other creative design support.
 </li>
 <li>
 Services rendered are required to be entered into NGA&rsquo;s online application via the Local Work Order Tool and made easily accessible by the Government.
 </li>
 <li>
 Shall stay abreast of new and potentially evolving software packages which may be useful for NGA in the future.
 </li>
 <li>
 All products shall be reviewed by the Graphic Design Lead Key Positions to ensure there are no grammatical, typographical or compositional errors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Will design products for printing on digital presses, which can differ from other design and layouts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide high quality, professional digital photography to include, but not limited to both portrait and on-scene photography.
 </li>
 <li>
 On-scene photography can involve, but not limited to, accident investigations, building maintenance, events, award ceremonies, group photos, and photo-journalism.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proper caption writing techniques shall be required for all photographs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Photography staff will be required to load all photos into NGA OCC&rsquo;s Darkroom with proper metadata tags and captions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Will have to be able to remove all metadata from photographs before images are approved for public release.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties as assigned
 </li>
 <li>
 3-5 years of relevant experience in the career field of and graphic design and Photographers must use the Nikon Digital camera systems and Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud software. The camera systems will be provided by the Government as government furnished equipment (GFE).
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have detailed knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud graphic design software package on a Windows platform.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Physical Demands:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Security clearance at this location.
