Job Overview Ultahost is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Network &amp; Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, optimize, and scale our global hosting, virtualization, storage, and network infrastructure across multiple data centers.</div><div>
This role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional who combines strong networking expertise with deep knowledge of virtualization platforms, storage systems, Linux administration, and hosting environments.</div><div>

Key Responsibilities</b></div><div><i>
Infrastructure &amp; Virtualization</i></div><ul><li>Design, deploy, and manage large-scale VPS and hosting infrastructure across multiple global data centers.</li><li>Build, maintain, and optimize Proxmox VE clusters to ensure high availability, performance, and stability.</li><li>Manage and support virtualization technologies including: Proxmox VE, KVM / QEMU, VMware vSphere / ESXi, yper-V</li><li>Develop infrastructure standards, templates, deployment workflows, and provisioning processes.</li><li>Perform capacity planning, resource forecasting, and infrastructure optimization.</li><li>Implement and maintain high-availability, failover, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.</li></ul><div><i>
Storage &amp; Ceph</i></div><ul><li>Deploy, manage, and optimize Ceph storage clusters (MON, OSD, MGR, RGW).</li><li>Improve cluster performance, balancing, replication, recovery, and scalability.</li><li>Design backup, snapshot, and disaster recovery solutions.</li><li>Ensure storage availability and reliability for production VPS and hosting services.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.</li></ul><div><i>
Network Engineering</i></div><ul><li>Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Juniper routing and switching infrastructure.</li><li>Maintain and optimize network performance, throughput, routing stability, and capacity utilization.</li><li>Work with: BGP, OSPF, VRRP, VLANs, LACP</li><li>High Availability networking technologies</li><li>Design secure and resilient interconnectivity between data centers.</li><li>Analyze network performance and proactively address latency, packet loss, and routing issues.</li></ul><div><i>
Security &amp; Infrastructure Hardening</i></div><ul><li>Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and access control policies.</li><li>Implement infrastructure security best practices and hardening standards.</li><li>Manage patching strategies and vulnerability remediation processes.</li><li>Support incident response readiness and security improvement initiatives.</li><li>Implement secure remote access and least-privilege operational models.</li></ul><div><i>
Linux &amp; Hosting Infrastructure</i></div><div>
Manage and optimize production environments running:</div><div>

Required Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>5+ years of experience managing hosting infrastructure, virtualization platforms, network operations, or data center environments.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with:Proxmox, KVM / QEMU, Ceph Storage, Juniper Networking</li><li>Strong understanding of: High Availability architectures, Virtualization technologies Network routing and switching, Storage systems *Linux system administration</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.</li><li>Experience with infrastructure security, hardening, and operational best practices.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.</li></ul><div><b>

The Dedicated Server Provisioning Engineer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of dedicated server infrastructure, including server procurement, vendor coordination, hardware inventory management, and provisioning processes.</div><div>
