The Role and What You’ll Do: 
The Media Services Assistant is responsible for supporting the Zuffa editing team in their daily needs. This position is also responsible for creating template-based graphics and ensuring their delivery to edit team. This position does not travel and remains at Zuffa headquarters. Due to remote needs, this position will periodically work the swing shift into the late evening.
 
Digitize, convert, and organize content for use by editors.
 Clip highlights after each event using a Digital Asset System; log and export content from the Digital Asset System for use by editors.
 Compile footage for contracted vendors for producing features for the live event broadcasts and promotional programming.
 Import and archive media when projects are completed by editors.
 Convert show masters to various formats for international distribution to partners.
 Arrange fighter highlights for upcoming events for the Public Relations Department and create graphics for use in live events.
 Work with editors on promotional assets, long/short form shows, and sizzles. This includes compiling the footage, setting up sequences, exporting graphics, and mastering.
 
You Have These: 
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
 1-2 years’ experience in a related field.
 Basic editing skills and knowledge of AVID Media Composer or equivalent.
 Knowledge of various video codecs and compression methods.
 Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud preferred, especially Photoshop and After Effects.
 Knowledge of post-production standards.
 Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of the organization.
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to small details.
 Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
 Ability to work autonomously.
 Excellent decision-making ability.
 Knowledge of UFC historical information helpful.
 Ability to work non-traditional hours, such as swing shift, graveyard shift, and weekends.

The Role and What You’ll Do: 
The UFC is seeking a Video Colorist to join our Emmy Award-winning production team in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have experience coloring a wide array of long form, short form, and promotional content across various media platforms. We’re seeking a creative and technically proficient colorist who understands the unique color challenges and trends in commercial and documentary work. The ideal candidate is proficient in Davinci Resolve and stays up-to-date with the latest color grading techniques, software advancements, and industry standards, ensuring visually compelling and technically consistent results.
 
Responsibilities: 
Color a variety of long form content, including but not limited to feature length documentaries, episodic series, and supporting promotional elements.
 Ensure color consistency and visual cohesion across all footage, meeting high-end industry standards.
 Work with RAW footage from high-end cinema cameras (e.g., ARRI, RED, Sony) and manage log-to-final-grade workflows.
 Performing advanced color correction and grading with Davinci Resolve, to enhance the artistic and emotional impact of each scene/show.
 Creating tailored looks to be replicated through a series.
 Color balancing multiple cameras and lighting conditions in a docuseries to best maintain a consistent look
 Collaborate closely with producers, cinematographers, and editors to bring their creative vision to life through color.
 Maintain organized project files, LUT libraries, and node-based grading structures to ensure smooth workflows.
 Work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects with consistent high-quality results.
 Stay at the forefront of color science innovations, industry trends, and evolving grading techniques to push creative boundaries.
 
You Have These: 
Proven experience as a Video Colorist in film, television, or commercial post-production, with a strong portfolio.
 Must be proficient in DaVinci Resolve, with advanced knowledge of node-based grading, secondary color corrections, film emulation techniques, and look development.
 Strong understanding of color theory, contrast ratios, film stock emulation, and how to shape mood through color grading.
 Must have knowledge of color spaces, LUT creation, HDR/SDR workflows, and the latest post-production standards (Rec. 709, Rec. 2020, P3, etc.).
 Experience with RAW color workflows and proficiency in handling camera log formats (ARRI LogC, RED IPP2, Sony S-Log, D-Log, etc.).
 Keen eye for detail with the ability to diagnose and correct issues like color shifts, noise artifacts, and exposure imbalances.
 Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot color pipeline issues.
 Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, balancing creative precision with fast turnaround times.
 Excellent communication skills, able to translate creative direction into precise color adjustments.
 Strong ability to self-manage projects while also thriving in a team-driven creative pipeline.
 Experience coloring documentaries is a plus.
 Proficiency with Davinci Resolve Advanced Control Panel is a plus.
 Familiarity with Dolby Vision HDR grading is a plus.
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary.
 Must maintain discretion and confidential information.
 Experience in a sports environment preferred. Knowledge of MMA is a plus.
 Work hours will typically take place Monday through Friday, but candidate will be expected to work occasional nights and weekends when necessary.

The Assistant Editor is responsible for supporting the Zuffa life event edit staff in their daily needs, facilitating the archive of fighter reels and maintaining all pre-production needs for content airing in our TV broadcasts. This position is also responsible for creating template-based graphics and ensuring their delivery to the editing team. This position does not travel and remains at Zuffa headquarters. Due to remote needs, this position will periodically work the swing shift into the late evening.
 
Clips highlights after each event using a Digital Asset System; logs and exports content from the Digital Asset System for use by editors.
 Creates projects in AVID Media Composer for each event and builds base of media for editors. This includes but is not limited to: highlights of each fighter on card, name graphics, and specialty footage.
 Creates template-based name identifying graphics to be used in broadcasts.
 Creates and delivers template-based animations to be used in broadcasts.
 Manages media for multiple events simultaneously within storage capacity limitations.
 Edits content as needed to support live event requirements.
