Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist to develop and implement strategic purchasing plans that align with business, market, and technology trends. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes, supplier relationship management, and cost-effective sourcing solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing the supply chain, ensuring seamless operations, and driving the company&rsquo;s mission forward. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li> Develop and execute purchasing strategies based on business, market, and technology trends to maintain a strong and competitive supply base.</li><li> Oversee the procurement of productive/non-productive materials, machinery, tools, and services, ensuring efficiency in production and operations.</li><li> Manage procurement for indirect materials and services related to construction, including mechanical, electrical, rigging, and insulation.</li><li> Actively participate in developing commodity strategies, sourcing, negotiation, and budget execution to optimize cost and sourcing.</li><li> Utilize benchmarking, cost and value chain analysis, negotiations, and supply chain analysis tools to enhance supply performance.</li><li> Work closely with internal and external partners to align priorities, identify creative solutions, and manage processes such as RFQ management, procure-to-pay, and supplier relationship management.</li><li> Lead purchasing activities that align with business objectives, ensuring the achievement of successful outcomes.</li><li> Develop strong supplier relationships, conduct regular performance evaluations, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.</li><li> Address critical supply chain risks and develop contingency solutions to prevent disruptions in logistics.</li><li> Communicate potential impacts on purchasing, logistics, or the broader supply chain to relevant stakeholders transparently.</li><li> Develop protection and contingency plans to secure supply continuity and manage potential risks.</li><li> Set clear strategies and lead procurement activities toward achieving common goals, managing day-to-day tasks and performance evaluations.</li><li> Implement data-driven decision-making using historical data, market trends, and predictive analytics to enhance procurement processes.</li><li> Leverage digital tools such as ERP systems, e-procurement software, and supplier management platforms to improve transparency and streamline procurement processes.</li><li> Promote continuous learning, mentorship, and best practices to maintain a high-performing procurement team.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul><li> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li> Extensive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.</li><li> Strong expertise in negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.</li><li> Proven ability to lead and optimize procurement processes.</li><li> Proficiency in using procurement software and digital tools.</li></ul>

Annual refresher training will be completed every year after to fulfill the requirements of 40 CFR. Other training to be provided as required.</div>
