Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Scheduling &amp; Dispatch Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation schedules, dispatching freight, and ensuring seamless communication across multiple departments. Your proactive approach will help optimize fleet utilization, improve delivery efficiency, and support our supply chain operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analysis skills and transportation management expertise will make a tangible impact.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and maintain accurate transportation schedules using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.</li><li>Dispatch freight efficiently by coordinating with drivers, carriers, and warehouse teams to meet delivery deadlines.</li><li>Utilize GPS and GIS tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries.</li><li>Manage shipping and receiving processes, including freight documentation, data entry, and tracking via AS400 and other logistics platforms.</li><li>Communicate clearly with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams using multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette.</li><li>Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced fleet management.</li><li>Support logistics operations by handling inquiries related to 3PL providers, freight status, and shipment scheduling while maintaining accurate records.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in transportation planning, dispatching, or logistics coordination within a supply chain environment.</li><li>Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms.</li><li>Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data from GPS, GIS tools, and shipping software for operational improvements.</li><li>Knowledge of freight shipping &amp; receiving procedures along with fleet management practices.</li><li>Excellent communication skills combined with phone etiquette for effective stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and managing multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Experience working with logistics software like SyteLine or AS400 is preferred; familiarity with 3PL operations is a plus.
