Job SummaryThe HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day human resource operations in a shipbuilding environment, including recruitment, onboarding, workforce management, compliance with labor laws, and employee relations. This role ensures smooth HR administration for both yard-based and site employees while maintaining compliance with statutory and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment &amp; Staffing<ul><li>Coordinate manpower requirements for shipyard operations.</li><li>Source, screen, and schedule interviews for technical and non-technical roles.</li><li>Issue offer letters, appointment letters, and employment contracts.</li></ul>2. Employee Onboarding &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Manage joining formalities, background verification, and KYC documents.</li><li>Maintain employee records, personal files, and digital HR data.</li><li>Issue ID cards, access cards, and safety induction schedules.</li></ul>3. Payroll &amp; Attendance<ul><li>Track attendance through biometric/manual registers.</li><li>Process monthly payroll inputs including overtime, shift allowances, and deductions.</li><li>Coordinate with accounts for timely salary disbursement.</li></ul>4. Compliance &amp; Labor Laws<ul><li>Ensure compliance with labor laws applicable to shipyards such as:</li><li>ESI</li><li>PF</li><li>Factories Act</li><li>Contract Labour Act</li><li>Handle inspections, audits, and statutory documentation.</li></ul>5. Industrial Relations<ul><li>Handle employee grievances in coordination with site management.</li><li>Support disciplinary procedures and domestic enquiries.</li><li>Manage union interactions if applicable.</li></ul>6. Exit &amp; Final Settlement<ul><li>Handle resignation, termination, and contract completion processes.</li><li>Coordinate full and final settlements and issuance of NOC and experience letters.</li><li>Maintain exit interview records.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration / Industrial Relations</li><li>Diploma/PG in HR is preferred</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years of HR experience (Freshers also can apply)</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
