Description: 
Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. 
 
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph). 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
</li><li>Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems</li>
<li>Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems</li>
<li>Assists users in accessing and using IT systems</li>
<li>Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems</li>
<li>Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.</li>
<li>Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers</li>
<li>Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
</li><li>Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
</li><li>Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
</li><li>Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
</li><li>Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance</li>
</ul>Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>Ten (10) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor&rsquo;s degree.</li>
</ul>Preferred Qualifications: 
Experience required to support the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Experience with Container Technology: Administering large software deployments on LINUX/UNIX systems, administering clustered storage solutions (e.g. storage appliances, Ceph), Kubernetes orchestrated containers, system configuration management software (e.g. Puppet, Ansible) and change control. 
 
Salary Range: $195,000 - $205,000 (Annually) 
Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.

Description: 
A Database Administrator is needed to support a large, complex, fast-paced, operational program. The selected candidate will maintain the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases. Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data, as well as administering, maintaining, developing, and implementing policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database. The selected candidate will evaluate and recommend available database management system products; perform database and software lifecycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance, availability, and compliance with business requirements; and organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.

Primary Responsibilities
<ul><li>Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system database and replication issues.</li>
<li>Monitor database performance and memory allocations using standard tools.</li>
<li>Perform system updates and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patching.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve database problems.</li>
<li>Perform database recovery actions.</li>
<li>Modify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues.</li>
<li>Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.</li>
<li>Transition/ingest legacy data.</li>
<li>Translate requirements and data into usable database schemas by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts and macros, making updates to existing queries, and creating new queries to manipulate data into a master file.</li>
<li>Recommend design and implementation practices that optimize the performance of GOTS/COTS databases and applications.</li>
<li>Assist in the development of database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.</li>
<li>Assist in developing databases, database parser software, and database loading software.</li>
</ul>Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must have at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience as a database administrator.</li>
<li>Must have at least three (3) years of Oracle Database Administration experience.</li>
<li>Must have experience implementing and maintaining database security.</li>
<li>Must have experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.</li>
<li>Must have experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems/issues.</li>
<li>Must have experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.</li>
<li>Must have experience with procedural languages such as PL/SQL.</li>
</ul>Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 years of related work experience.</li>
<li>Experience with real time highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, Sybase Replication Server.</li>
<li>Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and/or as a member of an Agile team.</li>
<li>Extensive experience with database design and development.</li>
<li>Extensive, in-depth understanding of databases, primarily Oracle and/or other relational and non-relational/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.</li>
<li>Experience using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and SQL in general.</li>
<li>Experience with Mongo and/or Cassandra.</li>
</ul>
 
Salary Range: MID L1 $160,000 &ndash; 170,000 (Annually) 
 SR L2 $240,000 &ndash; 250,000 (Annually)
