Join a team where people come first. United Alloy is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to serve as a key member of our HR team. In this role, you&rsquo;ll be the first point of contact for employees and play a vital part in supporting HR operations and cross-functional collaboration. What You&rsquo;ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Act as a liaison between employees and management to promote communication, job satisfaction, and performance.</li>
<li>Partner with department leaders to maintain high levels of employee engagement.</li>
<li>Support HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration (STD/LTD, COBRA, FMLA), and unemployment documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain and update HRIS systems with accuracy and confidentiality.</li>
<li>Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.</li>
<li>Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Serve as a backup for attendance tracking and employee notifications.</li>
<li>Support policy administration and disciplinary procedures.</li>
<li>Help plan and organize company events and celebrations.</li>
<li>Promote and embody our 12 Expected Behaviors of an Actively Engaged Person: Responsibility, Trust, Teamwork, Communication, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Control, Conflict Resolution, Positivity, Respect, Problem Solving, and Agility.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work additional hours for special events or deadlines.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.</li>
</ul>
What You Bring:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources, Business Management, or a related field&mdash;or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.</li>
<li>Excellent time management and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and planning abilities.</li>
<li>Effective interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically across teams.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows-based systems.</li>
