The Digital Content Specialist is an entry-level, non-exempt position that reports to the Communications Manager. This role helps support United Health Centers&rsquo; digital presence by assisting with video projects, social media, email marketing, and online outreach. The position also supports UHC TV by helping create engaging, patient-friendly content shared across digital platforms.</div><div>
This role works closely with multiple departments to help tell UHC&rsquo;s story, promote services, and connect with the community through creative and digital communication efforts.</div>
Responsibilities:

Summary of Responsibilities:</b></div><div>
Works closely with the Communications Manager and various UHC teams, this position will:</div><ul><li>
Assist with social media posts, email campaigns, and digital outreach</li><li>
Help create and edit video content, including patient stories and promotional materials</li><li>
Support website updates and digital projects to improve user experience</li><li>
Contribute content and ideas for UHC TV</li><li>
Help manage email marketing tools and contact lists</li><li>
Support UHC Foundation through creative design contributions and event coordination</li></ul><div><b>
PERFORMANCE AREA 1: Video Production and Storytelling</b></div><ul><li>
Assisting with planning, filming and editing videos</li><li>
Help produce patient testimonials, promotional videos, and community stories</li></ul><div><b>
PERFORMANCE AREA 2: </b><b>Digital Presence Support</b></div><ul><li>
Support digital projects that improve patient and community engagement</li><li>
Help maintain online platforms and digital tools</li></ul><div><b>
PERFORMANCE AREA 3: Social Media and Email Marketing</b></div><ul><li>
Help create and schedule social media content</li><li>
Assist with email campaigns and maintaining contact lists</li></ul><div><b>
 PERFORMANCE AREA 4: External Communications, UHC TV, and Foundation Support</b></div><ul><li>
Support content creation and scheduling for UHC TV.</li><li>
Assist with communication campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging</li><li>
Provide design and creative support for UHC Foundation events</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Qualification Requirements</b></div><div><b>
Education:</b></div><ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field required. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li></ul><div><b>
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:</b></div><ul><li>
Possess a valid Driver's License</li></ul><div><b>
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:</b></div><ul><li>
Some experience (internship, coursework, volunteer work, or 1 year of related work) in marketing, communications, social media, or digital media preferred. Experience in healthcare or community organizations is a plus.</li></ul><div><b>
Skills</b>:</div><ul><li>
Bilingual (English/Spanish) with ability to read, write, and translate materials for patient/ community understanding is a plus.</li><li>
Familiarity with video editing, graphic design, or content creation tools is a plus.</li><li>
Creative flair and enthusiasm for design; flexible approach to teamwork.</li><li>
Comfortable learning website and email marketing systems</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Creative, detailed-orientated, and organized.</li><li>
Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines</li><li>
Reliable and dependable</li><li>
Demonstrates good problem-solving skills; sound judgment.</li><li>
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with flexibility and dependability</li><li>

The hourly wage range that UHC reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire starts at $25.41 an hour. Our salaries are dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.</div><div></div><div><br>
