We are looking for a responsible Accounts Payable Clerk to support to our Payroll Department, assisting in daily office needs and managing company&rsquo;s general administrative activities.

</ul>
Specific Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.</li>
<li>Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.</li>
<li>Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.</li>
<li>Maintains historical records by microfilming and filing documents.</li>
<li>Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.</li>
<li>Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.</li>
<li>Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.</li>
<li>Manage/coordinate resources for office supplies and maintenance of office and grounds.</li>
<li>Assist with onboarding new hires and applications for walk-ins with recruiting assistance.</li>
<li>Serve as Emergency Project Admin for Emergency Projects supporting Emergency Crews with purchasing and functional organization needs.</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent education required</li>
<li>3 years of Accounts Payable experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft (BirdDog and COINS Systems).</li>
</ul>

<li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised.</li>
<li>Team player and self-motivated to be successful.</li>
<li>Periodic travel required.</li>
<li>Legally able to work in the US.</li>
<li>Hold a valid driver&rsquo;s license and meet company requirements to drive a company vehicle.</li>
