 United Integrated Services (USA) is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team!
 
 
 The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent in overseeing daily operations on the construction site. This role involves coordinating and supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing schedules, and assisting with project documentation. The Assistant Superintendent plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 
 include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Supervise subcontractors and construction workers, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate communication between the project manager, superintendent, subcontractors, and site workers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Address any issues or conflicts that arise on the site promptly and effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all site activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor progress against project milestones and report any deviations to the Superintendent and Project Managers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help plan and organize site logistics to optimize workflow and efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, safety incidents, and deliveries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and submit reports on project status, including any delays or issues encountered.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with the preparation and submission of required project documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other responsibilities as assigned.

 Qualifications:

 Education/Experience:

 High School Diploma/GED; bachelor&rsquo;s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 2-5 years of experience in construction.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Skills and Competencies:

 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent organizational and time management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).
 
 </li>

 Language Proficiency:

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to communicate in Mandarin, preferred.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Nice to have:

 Experience with commercial construction projects, particularly large-scale developments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verbal communication skills in Mandarin.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Additional Requirements:

 Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver&rsquo;s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment
 
 
 
 This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials as needed. The role involves extended periods standing, walking and/or of sitting while working at a computer. Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary.
 
 
 The position is based at the construction job site (trailer office). Even though the exposure of hazardous work conditions would be minimal, the employee may be required to visit the work area of the jobsite and thus be exposed to some typical work hazards that may be present on a construction site, such as dust, moving machineries, weather, caustic chemicals, noise etc. UIS would provide the required safety protection to ensure the safety of UIS employees and comply with all OSHA standards.
