United Safety is looking to hire an H2S Technicians for our operations in Abu Dhabi.Only those currently in UAE are invited to apply.Duties include but not limited to:&middot;Assist to plan, organize and to control required activities with on-site client representative(s) for drilling, well servicing and industrial locations;&middot; Under Senior supervision: operates and ensures function, operational readiness of various equipment and testing systems to ensure response quality; conducts H2S drills, rescues, inspections &amp; tests, site hazard assessments and safety meetings on-site.&middot; Installs and dismantles (deploys) H2S safety equipment, including loading and transporting equipment to the worksite; strategically placing required equipment for rapid response including Cascade system, Breathing air lines, manifolds, breathing apparatuses, gas detection systems, barriers, signs and briefing areas;&middot; Ensures Site Safety Plan is followed;&middot; Ensures proper &amp; smooth co-ordination with Safety Officers;&middot; Provides input and support for the safe conduct of work;&middot; Ensures PTW procedures &amp; all safety procedures are followed by contractor personnel;&middot; Conducts regular work site safety inspections / audits / walk downs;&middot; Participates in incident investigations following any incidents;&middot; Assist safety department with audits during shutdowns;&middot; Reviews JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for each job;&middot; Other duties as assigned.Must Have:&middot; Minimum 2.5 years of previous H2S work experience (offshore);&middot; Fluent in English;&middot; Education: High School Diploma minimum;&middot; Currently residing in UAE or available to join immediately.You should enjoy physical work and be comfortable being away from home for long periods of time in a hotel or camp situation.You are diligent, attentive and can work as an effective team player.You must be able to communicate clearly and calmly when faced with adverse situations.Only submit your application if you meet the core requirements expressed above.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted only if you have 2.5 years of previous H2S work experience offshore.Job Type: Full-timePay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Can you join immediately?</li><li>Do you have 2.5 years of previous H2S work experience offshore?</li><li>Are you currently in UAE?</li></ul>
