About This Role:</b></div><div>
The Digital Designer is part of the USGA Marketing&rsquo;s creative team. This role will create compelling, educational and entertaining digital organic and paid collateral that are optimized for each audience and digital and social channel across the USGA and engage our key audiences.<br>

The designer should have a passion for creativity, storytelling, engaging the fans, technology and innovation.<br>
</div><div>
This role requires a positive team player who has a passion to create innovative, engaging content.</div><div>
He/she should be comfortable working in a dynamic fast paced environment and will have strong interpersonal collaborative skillset and be very comfortable working under deadlines.<br>
</div><div><b>
What You'll Do:</b></div><div>
Create compelling, entertaining digital organic and paid collateral that are optimized for each audience and channel across USGA digital and social media channels to support USGA pillars, engage our key audiences and optimized for each audience and channel. Collaborate with the marketing and content team members to determine the most engaging and best creative content. Collaborate and idealize with stakeholders, social media leads and creative team to facilitate the creation of the most appropriate and compelling content to be shared outwardly.</div><div>
Creatively pushing the content to be distinct while staying within the brand, messaging and guidelines. To include social graphics creation to tell the stories of the live championship coverage, and USGA news<br>
</div><div>
Remote work for live coverage of USGA Championships and other USGA events and initiatives.<br>
</div><div>
Travel to select USGA championships to create timely graphics for social media creative content creation, including collaborating with an expanded on-site team of creatives, hosts, and brand ambassadors to produce content for USGA social team with planning of daily/weekly social content plans and execution of said plans.<br>
</div><div>
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to fulfill corporate partner obligations and goals on championship social media channels including paid programs that deliver the desired reach or engagement. Work with and assist our video and photo teams on shoots and deliverables.<br>
</div><div><b>
Where You'll Be: </b>This role will be based in Liberty Corner on a hybrid schedule, 3 days/week in office and will include some travel to championships.<br>
</div><div><b>
Salary Range</b>: $60,000 - $72,000</div><div>
The annual base salary range for this position is <b>$60,000 - $72,000</b>. This range represents what we reasonably expect to pay as starting base compensation for this role. Compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, and relevant certifications. In addition to your base compensation, the USGA provides competitive benefit offerings for all full-time employees.</div><div>

What You Bring:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field is preferred</li><li>
Experienced as graphic designer at professional or college sports is preferred but not required.</li><li>
This designer should demonstrate a strong portfolio with a focus on capturing the attention of content consumers and leveraging the most recent trends on social media platforms.</li><li>
Strong understanding of, and passion for visual storytelling</li><li>
Self-starter with high standards and accountability</li><li>
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure deadline environment</li><li>
Must be detail-oriented and maintain high levels of quality control of work</li><li>
Demonstrates creative judgment based on current trends, events and platform style</li><li>
Ability to work with a team and take direction and be just as comfortable working independently</li><li>
Embrace new production technologies, demonstrate a desire to learn and implement new techniques</li><li>
Exhibit a &ldquo;no task is too small&rdquo; attitude</li><li>
Must be willing travel, work onsite or remote, work after hours, weekends and holidays in support of championships, initiatives and breaking news</li><li>
