<div>Position Summary
Responsible for performing intermediate-level general accounting functions, preparing and analyzing financial information, and assisting with internal management and SEC/regulatory reporting. This position serves as a progression beyond Staff Accountant I with increased analytical responsibility, ownership of assigned accounting areas, and limited review or coordination responsibilities, while continuing to work under the direction of Finance Management.
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Prepare and analyze month-end close activity, including fixed assets, prepaids and accruals, investments, and other assigned accounts</li><li>
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements for the Bank, Holding Company, and its Subsidiaries</li><li>
Prepare supporting reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual management and Board of Directors reporting</li><li>
Assist with preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including footnote support and tie-outs</li><li>
Assist with preparation of regulatory filings, including FDIC Call Report schedules</li><li>
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly general ledger balancing and reconciliations</li><li>
Assist with ad-hoc requests from management, auditors, and other departments</li></ul>
Education and Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required</li><li>
1-3 years of accounting experience</li><li>
Banking and regulatory/SEC reporting experience preferred</li></ul>
Licenses and Certifications<ul><li>
CPA preferred</li></ul>
