 Job Summary - Purpose Of The Role
 
 
 
 Import-Export Specialists have many duties to be responsible for the flow from planning to delivery to customer or own warehouses. Plan and book import-export shipment, manage incoming transport orders. They document shipments to ensure that they are in compliance with customs rules and regulations. Import-Export Specialists also counsel clients on matters like tariffs, insurance, and quotas. They categorize shipments according to a tariff coding system. Handle administrative tasks such as transport invoices, complaints, custom matters and pricing matters. Negotiate price for single shipments when agreed with manager, to comply with all company processes, policies and guidelines
 
 
 
 Responsibilities &amp; Duties
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Following up post-operational and operational activities and operating relations between logistics providers and suppliers (such as transportation, loading, inspection, analysis etc&hellip;).
 </li>
 <li>
 Arrange payment instrument with Bank related payment term of the purchase orders, like letter of credit management with Bank and Supplier.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating international transport regarding agreed incoterms per purchase orders in order to meet the confirmed delivery dates in a timely and effective manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Updating and maintaining inbound delivery documents in SAP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Gathering freight quotations, making agreements and checking freight invoices (international trucking, air cargo, sea freight).
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide advice on transportation options, types of carriers, or shipping routes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinated with air and ocean shipments &amp; custom brokers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with Supplier for shipping documents to start up the customs clearing with customs broker.
 </li>
 <li>
 Completing required documentation for import and export operations and giving necessary instructions for payment and customs clearing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Following up customs clearance process with custom brokers. Provide required customs clearing documentation to Customs Broker according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise internal and external customers about import and export developments on duties, tax restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, quotas, or other customs-related matters.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up customs related permission and legislation per product in order to follow up customs broker for updating the permission application at customs in order to avoid any barrier for future import process of the goods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform required system record in system to make goods release after customs clearing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Check received invoices: price control for service invoices regarding agreed tariff in contracts and agreements; controlling of received return invoices from supplier regarding quantity and price differences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Control and manage cost increases for purchasing processes due customs and other reasons and alert related stakeholders in order to take action to avoid cost increasing, i.e. demurrage cost management regarding target.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collecting all invoices (freight, insurance, customs related fees, etc.) related to COGS landed cost separately for each shipment and provide complete file to Finance and update the related documents in SAP.

 </ul>
 
 Key competencies and behaviors
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 University degree from related Programs; Business Administration, Foreign Trade or International Logistics &amp; Supply Chain.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 3-4 years&rsquo; experience in a similar position,
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent knowledge of the international trade import-export operations,
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of the incoterms conditions,
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent logistics skills, including transport, storage, surveying, supervision,
 </li>
 <li>
 Good English and Turkish skills,
 </li>
 <li>
 Good presentation and interpersonal skills,
 </li>
 <li>
 Good knowledge of MS Office, (Excel, World, Power Point)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex systems,
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills,
 </li>
 <li>

 Job Summary - Purpose Of The Role
 
 
 
 As a part of the Performance Materials Sales team you will contribute to developing and expanding Univar business within an agreed customer base/territory in order to execute the strategic objectives of the Sales department and the annual budget. You spend as much time as is reasonably possible interacting face to face with Customers looking for new business opportunities and at the same time growing and strengthening the current relationships. Customer needs drive your activities and you balance them with the interests of the company. Within the team you will be reporting into the Sales Manager.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities &amp; Duties

 Ensure efficient execution of the sales targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support, enhance and execute the annual business plan: plan visits, services and calls &amp; execute the plan and close the sales opportunities, creation and conversion of a credible pipeline through identification of opportunities.

 Sales projects and mutual selling activities: initiate, set up and execute projects, attend conferences and marketing events.
 </li>
 <li>
 Meet targets on cold calls to expand Univar business and maintain the existing relationships in visiting the potential and existing clients, negotiating the sales terms, offering after-sales support, logistics and technical services, help in investigating and resolving customer complaints, training the clients and advising them in solving problems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use reporting tools as required, update customer situation and orders, respond to and follow up on sample requests, make client quotations, analyze the costs and sales.(Salesforce)

 Communicate and liaise with other members of the sales team, Credit Control, Supply Chain, product management, technical and other departments locally and in the wider business

 Driver&acute;s license required.

 Excellent skills in local language and fluent skills in English
 </li>
