The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented <b>Contact Center Support.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
The Patient Accounts Specialist</b> is responsible for receiving and resolving first line inquiries over the phone and written correspondence concerning patient accounts by patients or insurance companies.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities include:</b></div><ul><li>
Document all internal and external inquiries concerning patient accounts including patient and third party payers.</li><li>
Act as the first line of support to patient or third party payer contacting the facility with questions concerning an account or claim.</li><li>
Root cause issues and attempt to resolve.</li><li>
Document and communicate resolution as appropriate in the Patient Accounting System.</li><li>
Escalate problem accounts to management team of department for assistance and resolution.</li><li>
Clearly communicate resolution of issues to responsible parties and or guarantors on the account.</li><li>
Respond within 24 hours to patient inquiry which requires research providing updates on the status or the resolution of their issue each step of the process.</li><li>
Work with facility and internal departments of the CBO to investigate and resolve issues associated with patient or insurance company inquiries.</li><li>
Maintain working knowledge of the call routing system and patient accounting system</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><div><b>

Qualifications:
<div><b>
Position Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years customer service experience preferred.</li><li>
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>
Customer focused both internally and externally, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, strong 10 key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.</li><li>
Familiarity with customer service and 1-3 years healthcare business office experience preferred.</li></ul><div><b>
