Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials and machinery efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route planning, and safety protocols will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of construction, landscaping, or waste management projects, contributing directly to the success of our operations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbeds to transport materials to designated locations.</li><li>Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure and balanced loads.</li><li>Follow planned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other operational data for reporting purposes.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety procedures related to transporting hazardous or specialized freight when applicable.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in truck driving, including commercial driving with manual transmission vehicles.</li><li>Familiarity with operating various truck types such as dump trucks, tanker trucks and flatbeds.</li><li>Ability to load &amp; unload freight efficiently using manual methods while maintaining safety standards.</li><li>Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic regulations to optimize delivery schedules.</li><li>Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in tractor-trailer operations is a plus.</li><li>Ability to handle heavy loads safely and securely during transit and unloading processes.</li><li>Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding delivery instructions.
