<div><div><div><div><div><p><b>POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br>
Performs a variety of duties required in pharmacy operations and assists the pharmacists in the accomplishment of their duties. Accomplishes under the supervision of the professional staff, competent, efficient and timely performance of assignments within the structure of the Pharmacy Department.
</p><p><b>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</b><br>
Graduation from high school/GED required or equivalent experience is required. College or commercial school courses in basic sciences, mathematics, business or other related areas and/or completion of technician training program is preferred. Two or more years of experience as a registered pharmacy technician (Ph.T.R.) is preferred. Designated cash handlers must successfully complete the Patient Services Cashier course and be designated as a Patient Services Cashier during the initial probationary period.

<div><div><p><b>POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>
<p>Assists and administratively supports assigned executive by performing office management and secretarial functions. Assures the prompt and efficient performance of assigned duties. Exercises individual initiative and judgment in handling minor and routine matters not requiring the personal attention of supervisor. Complies with instructions and preserves the confidential nature of information. Maintains good public/working relations with other University Health executives, co-workers, employees, doctors, patients and guests. Handles all personal contacts with professionalism, efficiency and integrity</p>
<p><b>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</b></p>
<p>Graduation from high school or equivalent experience is required. Certification as a professional secretary and/or Associate Degree in Business Technology is preferred. Three years experience in a secretarial position is required. May substitute one year of business school or 12 semester hours of college business courses for one year of required experience. Experience in hospital environment is preferred</p></div><br>

Senior Administrative Assistant

</b></p><p><b>Critical Care APP Fellowship</b></p><br>

<p>The University Health Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship is a 12-month, post graduate training program for certified, licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.</p><br>
<p></p>
<p>During their training, fellows will rotate through medical, surgical-trauma, neuro, cardiothoracic and transplant intensive care units, along various other sub-specialties, exposing them to a multitude of health conditions. Fellows will train alongside APPs and physicians to hone their assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills specific to the critically ill.</p><br>
<p></p><p><b>Eligibility:</b></p>
<ul><li>Must have graduated or be pending graduation from an accredited Adult-Geriatric or Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program <b><i>OR</i></b> accredited Physician Assistant program at the time of interview</li>
<li>Must complete/clear the credentialing and enrollment process prior to starting the program which includes but is not limited to the following:
<ul><li>Current board certification in area of specialty</li>
<li>Current/unencumbered Texas Nurse Practitioner or Texas Physician Assistant license</li>
<li>Active BLS/ACLS from an approved American Heart Association training center prior</li><br>

<li>Achieve skills including: Point-of-care ultrasound training, management of mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, chest tube placement, and more</li>

<li>Focus on providing quality, cost-conscious care</li>
<li>Learn communication that connects patients and families with providers</li></ul><br>
