Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will be will be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of a broad range of courses within the Banking and Financial Technology domain. S/he will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment. The successful candidate will liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate, manage and control projects within the specified program area. Faculty members will keep course portfolio documents required for accreditation processes and engage in instructional development/improvement plans. All employees are expected to contribute to professional and community life within the College and beyond.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements 
Faculty members will be placed in the appropriate rank based on their education and experience. The broad criteria are provided below.
Education
PhD and a master's degrees in a Banking and Financial Technology or related discipline from an internationally recognized university with an undergraduate degree from an accredited university. 
For Assistant Professor
Experience<ul><li>
A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a post-secondary, adult training or industry training environment, along with preferably 3 years of employment experience in banking or a related field.</li><li>
Demonstrate knowledge in utilizing a Trading Room to enhance the student&rsquo;s learning through a hands-on experience in making financial decisions.</li><li>
A distinguished research record and international reputation evidenced by high quality publications in top tier journals.</li><li>
Excellent record of supervising high caliber research students.</li><li>
Demonstrated leadership in building engagement and partnerships with the profession and industry.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Professional Certification: CFA and/or FRM</li><li>
Diploma in Education (e.g. Post-secondary Education, Adult Education or Vocational Education) is preferred.</li><li>
6+ years of employment experience as a practitioner/professional within the relevant discipline (Derivatives, Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management, and Risk Management).</li><li>
Teaching experience in post-secondary, adult training, or industry training environment.</li><li>
Experience in leadership and innovation in technology-based projects.</li><li>
Proficient in Power BI: Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Power BI to extract, transform, and visualize data from various sources. Able to create interactive dashboards, reports, and data models to provide actionable insights.</li></ul> 
For Associate Professor
Experience<ul><li>
A minimum of 8 years teaching experience in a post-secondary, adult training or industry training environment, along with preferably 3 years of employment experience in banking or a related field.</li><li>

Responsibilities:

Duties &amp; Responsibilities: 
</div><div></div>Operational
Assist faculty staff with proposal development, review and submission process for pre-award agreements to ensure alignment with UDST&rsquo;s policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the Applied Research and Innovation (ARI), Academic Manager in grant submissions, budget preparation and track payments of all research grants.
Act as liaison between faculty staff, funding institutions and government bodies and review and update sponsor agreements as recommended by the Applied Research and Innovation (ARI), Academic Manager.
Coordinate proposal requirements with faculty staff and external participants and review proposals and research initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory laws, policies and procedures.
Provide written feedback to university faculty regarding necessary changes and suggestions for proposal enhancement.
Maintain positive relationships with pre and post award Stakeholders, and government representatives to promote University applied research initiatives.
Assist faculty with the completion of administrative forms and others&rsquo; electronic systems to secure funds for research and other project initiatives.
Prepare reconciliation of actuals to budget variance and analysis for annual audit to contribute to grant audit review activities and to ensure timely closeout of audit recommendations.
Document and communicate pre/post awards outcomes to faculty through reports and presentations to promote and contribute to UDST&rsquo;s award scheme initiatives.
Maintain up-to-date database, records, and reports relevant to award grants to monitor University proposal activities and to ensure compliance with University guidelines and regulations.
Attend business unit and faculty meetings to obtain information on awards, finance and research related matters and draft minutes as appropriate.
Monitor awards proposal status and advise Principal Investigator on requirements and deadlines associated with research protocols highlighting discrepancies to the Applied Research and Innovation, Academic Manager.
Research best practices and identify trends in relation to award proposal process to assist in the development of tools and training workshops for faculty members.
Create and review budgets for institutional commitments and adherence to institutional policies and draft budget justification text for proposal inclusion.
Maintain up to date knowledge on award-funding bodies&rsquo; policies and guidelines and serve as an information resource, disseminating key information to faculty, students, and staff.
Participate in University-wide awards workshops and training sessions as required.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will support the development of the Information Division&rsquo;s business plan in alignment with UDST strategy and future technology needs through its projects and initiatives.
Operational:
Service Desk Management: Oversee the University's IT service desk operations, ensuring timely and effective response to user inquiries and technical issues while monitoring service levels, response times, and customer satisfaction.
Incident Resolution: Streamline operational procedures and employ proactive problem-solving strategies to accelerate the timely and accurate resolution of IT incidents and service requests, minimizing user disruption while identifying trends and root causes to implement preventive measures.
User Training and Self-Help Resources: Develop and deliver training sessions and resources to empower users to resolve common technical issues independently and maintain a knowledge base of solutions and troubleshooting guides.
 Vendor and Contract Management: Strategically partner with vendors and service providers to resolve escalated technical issues and manage service agreements and procure hardware, software and services required for IT support.
Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo of support processes, identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of support services.
User Communication: Establish relationship with University stakeholders to engage and communicate effectively on updates on service disruptions, maintenance, technical issues and manage user expectations and maintain a high level of customer service.
 Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the IT Support sections&rsquo; budget, allocating resources for staffing, training, tools, and equipment to optimize resource utilization to meet user needs and service levels.
Documentation and Reporting: Safeguard critical records of incidents, service requests and resolutions to enable decision-making by tracking performance, trends and user feedback.
 Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates based on UDST&rsquo;s Employee Performance Management framework to ensure continual high performance of employees in alignment with UDST's mission and mandate.
Qualifications:
<ul><li> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or related field required.</li><li> Master&rsquo;s degree/ professional certification is preferred.</li><li> Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in IT in a Higher Education Institutes.</li></ul><ul><li>
