Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for ambulatory application(s)/module(s) of Epic. This position is for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, which means being able to change direction quickly, multitask, and demonstrate a passion and eagerness to learn new technologies. The Epic ambulatory application analyst will collaborate with and provide tier-one support to their team and/or counterparts from other applications to successfully meet the development and implementation objectives for assigned Epic applications. Effectively manages competing and changing priorities. Under direct supervision, serves as project lead for key initiatives, including performing project management duties, as assigned. <br><div><ul><li>Based on clinical project requests, works with requestors and users to understand and document current workflow with an eye toward proposed future workflows that are optimized for any planned application changes.
</li><li>Presents recommended system enhancement opportunities and creative technical solutions for clinic-related scenarios. Using analytical evaluation skills, identifies, proposes, builds, and demonstrates prototypes of application configuration options for review and approval by project requestors.
</li><li>Performs ongoing maintenance and configuration updates to Epic applications.
</li><li>With supervision, creates test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow changes. Performs actual testing of clinical information system configuration and processes, including testing across applications and/or the testing of the application configuration of other analysts. Coordinates and participates in requestor and user testing of application changes.
</li><li>Provides tier-one support to end-users both remotely and in-person. Monitors, investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves incoming tickets. Serves as a liaison between users and vendors. Coordinates system fixes and changes with software vendors. Coordinates the deployment of application changes with the training team and operations.

Epic Professional Billing Analyst – Associate

<div><p>Under general supervision, the Research Assistant (RA) will participate in the identification, recruitment, and retention of study participants; data collection and reporting; and provision of navigation support to patients experiencing non-medical drivers of health (NMDoH). The RA will coordinate needed services with the Mays Cancer Center (MCC) nurse navigators and social workers, provide information on community resources available to address patients&rsquo; social determinants of health (SDoH), and assist with other study-related tasks. The RA will also review medical records (MR) to identify potential participants and will be responsible for completing all pre- visit and post-visit tasks and documentation. This position will also support other research studies/projects, including Quitxt and LyLAC, as well as community outreach and education activities as needed.<br>

The candidate must have strong communication, writing, organizational, and multitasking skills and be willing to maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate patients&rsquo; availability, including occasional after-hours or Saturday activities.

</li><li>Work closely with research coordinators and the research team to ensure day-to-day study activities are completed according to the study protocol and approved timelines. Responsibilities include identification and recruitment of study participants (consenting, administration of study surveys, Velos reporting, etc.), participant retention, data collection and reporting, provision of navigation services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting REDCap data management, assessments, and data integrity activities.
</li><li><p>Assist with and participate in daily program operations, including regular team meetings, completion of assigned tasks, routine reporting on study progress, maintaining effective communication with the PI and supervisors, and performing other tasks and responsibilities as required.
</p></li><li>Assists investigator or higher level technician with research studies, experiments and assays including collection of data, preparation of solutions and set-up and maintenance of equipment.
</li><li>Maintain complete and accurate source documentation. Support the completion of study activity reports for sponsors, regulatory bodies, and other entities as necessary.
</li><li>Performs general administrative duties in support of the study and other assigned project activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
</li><li>Assist in monitoring the quality and integrity of the study data, study evaluation, and dissemination of results.
