 POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist the Pharmacist in professional activities and perform assigned tasks in the outpatient pharmacies
 </li>
 <li>
 All activities of Pharmacy Technicians are performed under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Primary Job Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist patients with intake of new and refill prescriptions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Order entry of medication orders, which would include controlled substances, into the ambulatory pharmacy computer system, for pharmacist verification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fill patient prescriptions and perform financial functions supporting the prescription-filling process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Dispense prescriptions to patients, appropriately referring those who require counseling to a pharmacist for dispensing.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Strong candidates will have experience working in an outpatient pharmacy setting.
 
 
 
 Required Position Qualifications
 
 
 
 Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant OR equivalent education/experience
 
 
 
 LEGAL REQUIREMENT
 
 
 
 State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification

 is a dynamic teaching clinic that provides patient-centered care with the best available medical evidence. The GIMC provides comprehensive services for adult patients, including behavioral health care, chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and primary care services.
 
 
 
 POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 This is a Flex Advanced Practice Provider position, with a minimum of 50% time performing direct patient care, up to 45% of time providing in-basket support and between-visit care for empaneled patients, and approximately 5% of administrative time
 </li>
 <li>
 The Flex Advanced Practice Provider will not be an empaneled provider; clinic time will be providing acute care and supporting increased access for patients
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Primary Job Responsibilities

 Provides same day/urgent access for patients
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides patient care and care coordination support for fully empaneled primary care providers
 </li>
 <li>
 With keen attention to the specific needs of patients, delivers excellent care with compassion and sound medical knowledge

 Responds to patients' healthcare needs, including triage, urgent care, and interventions
 </li>
 <li>
 Partners with attending physicians, resident physicians, APPs, and other care team members
 </li>

 Follows patients, including longitudinal care and follow-up, in conjunction with other providers

 Current and valid Washington State ARNP licensure or Physician Assistant licensure

 2 years of primary care or internal medicine work experience at the ARNP / PA level
 </li>
 <li>
 DEA prescriptive authority
