Please note that this position will become hybrid after the initial training period of up to 6 months.
</div>Responsibilities:
<div>
Utilize agency management system and carrier websites to process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.</div><div></div><div><br>
Working knowledge of Word and Excel.</div><div></div><div><br>
Provide front line service for book of business assigned to you by anticipating and addressing to customer needs in a
</div><div>timely and professional manner.</div><div></div><div><br>
Follow established agency policies and standard operating procedures.</div><div></div><div><br>
Interpret policy coverage, rates as required, and make changes as appropriate.</div><div></div><div><br>
Coordinate the marketing and placing of coverage with direction from Account Executive.</div><div></div><div><br>
Communicate, meet, and interact with company personnel as appropriate.</div><div></div><div><br>
Accountable for maintaining company underwriting, rating, marketing, bulletins, forms, and correspondence for company(ies) assigned and distributing information within the agency as necessary.</div><div></div><div><br>
Maintain and sustain good customer and company relations.</div><div></div><div><br>
Communicate and interact with client by phone, in person, or in writing.</div><div></div><div><br>
Prepare proposals, finance terms as required.</div><div></div><div><br>
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.</div><div></div><div><br>
Perform other duties as assigned.</div>
Qualifications:
<div>
Current PA State Property and Casualty insurance producer license and minimum of 5 years previous agency or company experience.</div><div></div><div><br>
Thorough knowledge of basic lines of insurance coverage and products.</div><div></div><div><br>
Familiarity with the Commercial Lines Manual and specific coverage forms.</div><div></div><div><br>
Interpret rate making and proven ability to operate company specific rating software.</div><div></div><div><br>
Professional appearance, strong mutual and communication skills, positive and professional attitude.</div><div></div><p><b><br>
Wage Range:
</b></p><p>The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000
