Low Voltage Technician / Upfitter<ul><li>Passion for Tesla, automotive, or emergency vehicle industry and upfitting</li><li>4+ years hands-on experience in a dealer-level, OEM, or low voltage installation environment</li><li>ASE or EVT certification is preferred but not required</li><li>Installation and retrofit of enhanced aftermarket and OEM Tesla components.</li><li>Installation of emergency equipment, including Sirens, partitions, prisoner seats, car audio and video systems, computer equipment, etc.</li><li>Installation of Low Voltage power systems to power emergency equipment using high standards and specifications outline for emergency vehicles</li><li>Maintain extreme attention to detail, and high safety standards indicative of law enforcement and public safety vehicle installation</li><li>Organize workspace daily to maintain an efficient, and clean workflow</li><li>Liaison with management and fleet project management to ensure appropriate configuration SOP is followed</li><li>Proactively update the Fleet team with active updates on vehicle work progress with internal communication tools</li><li>Work with the service manager to ensure schedule cadence on the service schedule and hours/time expectations are maintained properly</li><li>Coordinate with the Fleet team to resolve any warranty or development concerns</li><li>Document progress of workflow electronically, including data entry and photo/video capture to catalog all work being performed, including documenting applicable damage</li><li>Facilitate high-level signoff of any vehicle worked on to ensure we have performed 100% of our desired task within the exact standards required</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience working on Tesla&rsquo;s Preferred but not required</li><li>Experience installing 12V, Audio Visual Equipment or Car Stereo Equipment</li><li>Familiarity with Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installation preferred</li><li>Understanding of automotive electrical systems ( Tesla preferred )</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Willingness to work overtime, weekends and events as needed</li><li>Ability to work well under a high-pressure or demanding environment</li><li>Valid CA Driver&rsquo;s license</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Hourly pay commensurate with experience</li><li>Opportunities for overtime and bonuses</li><li>Paid holidays, sick days, and personal time off</li><li>100% Employer-provided medical insurance</li><li>Generous 401K match</li><li>Tesla automobile subsidy after one year of employment</li><li>Employee discount on automotive parts, tires, and accessories</li></ul>About Unplugged PerformanceUnplugged Performance is the world leader in premium performance upgrades for Tesla vehicles.
