Team members are encouraged to take ownership, challenge conventions, and build lasting careers through meaningful, technically driven work that shapes the future of electrical construction.Role Overview The Electrical BIM Manager will lead all digital modeling and coordination efforts for multiple high-profile electrical projects. Acting as the strategic link between design, field operations, and project leadership, this role ensures that models are accurate, coordinated, and fully aligned with construction and prefabrication objectives.This is both a technical and leadership position&mdash;responsible for managing a team of BIM Modelers and Coordinators, establishing project standards, and driving BIM execution from initial setup through turnover. The Electrical BIM Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for all BIM tools, workflows, and best practices, directly influencing constructability, field efficiency, and project success.Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and manage BIM/VDC workflows for electrical systems from preconstruction through turnover.</li><li>Oversee a team of BIM Modelers and Coordinators, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.</li><li>Establish and maintain modeling standards, templates, and content libraries to ensure consistency across projects.</li><li>Coordinate with other trades and disciplines using Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Revit for clash detection and resolution.</li><li>Review and approve model-based deliverables, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project milestones.</li><li>Interface with project management, engineering, and field teams to ensure models support fabrication and installation needs.</li><li>Participate in coordination meetings, guiding discussion toward practical, field-driven solutions.</li><li>Manage file sharing, version control, and BIM execution plans (BEPs) for assigned projects.</li><li>Provide technical expertise on Revit MEP, content creation, and interoperability with fabrication tools.</li><li>Support integration of prefabrication and field technology (e.g., Trimble, Total Station layout, AR/VR visualization).</li></ul>Required Background<ul><li>5+ years of BIM/VDC experience within the electrical, MEP, or construction industry.</li><li>Proficiency in Revit (MEP) with deep understanding of electrical system modeling and coordination.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Navisworks Manage, clash detection workflows, and issue tracking.</li><li>Experience leading teams of modelers or coordinating across multiple disciplines.</li><li>Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Bluebeam, and common collaboration platforms.</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate design intent into constructible models.</li><li>Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.</li><li>Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Perks<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience and location.</li><li>401(k) with company match.</li><li>Comprehensive health, dental &amp; vision insurance.</li><li>HSA option with employer contributions.</li><li>Paid time off and holidays.</li><li>Exposure to high-profile commercial building systems projects with upward mobility into higher BIM/model roles (Modeler II, Lead) as you build competence and ownership.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
