 About the Manager of Finance
 
 
 
 The Manager of Finance will serve a critical role in shaping and executing the company&rsquo;s financial strategy to drive growth and operational excellence.
 
 
 Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Manager will bring a strong analytical mindset and deep business acumen to translate financial insights into actionable strategies that support enterprise-wide decision-making. This leader will have meaningful influence on various key areas of financial management, which include P&amp;L responsibilities, company-wide month-end reviews with executive team, long-term strategic initiatives and planning, and investor support.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the preparation of the monthly financial statement close process and the financial reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the development of the various financial reports for the Board of Directors, operators, investors, and other stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner closely with Accounting to ensure the accuracy of the financials on a regular basis
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with honing financial operations infrastructure to support the organization&rsquo;s rapid growth, with a focus on monthly/quarterly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with operational leaders, business development, and senior leadership to support the evaluation of M&amp;A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish financial discipline across acquired practices by standardizing reporting, integrating financial controls, and supporting physician engagement and accountability
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute on other ad-hoc projects at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations as applicable
 </li>
 </ul>

 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Must have 7+ years in progressively responsible roles in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, FP&amp;A, and/or corporate finance
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have expert-level Excel/financial modeling skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have demonstrated ability to lead and hone the monthly financial statement close process
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
 </li>
 <li>
 Significant plus: CPA or experience demonstrating strong accounting background
 </li>
 <li>
 Significant plus: a deep understanding of the financial complexities and best practices associated with physician practice management
 </li>
 <li>
 Significant plus: track record of succeeding in in high-growth environments, ideally in PE-backed multi-site healthcare delivery businesses that have seen growth through acquisition; appetite for a high growth and entrepreneurial environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Accounting or other similar areas, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
 </li>

 This is a remote position, however ~quarterly travel to Nashville is required

About the Nurse Practitioner (APP) Position 
Upperline Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide clinic-based care in our Anderson, IN location and home-based care in the broader Sand Lake area. In collaboration with Upperline&rsquo;s local Physician team, APPs develop complex plans of care in accordance with the patient&rsquo;s health status and overall goals and values; provide medical diagnostics and treatments in the clinic, in the patient's home, or via telehealth, consistent with the APP&rsquo;s scope of practice and the patient&rsquo;s medical condition; educate patients and families on medication usage, diet &amp; nutrition, and crisis anticipation &amp; prevention. They will also communicate medical information to patients&rsquo; physicians, other providers and Upperline&rsquo;s Physician team and broader interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have experience with the following: Primary Care/Internal Medicine, geriatric care and/or home-based care, Palliative or Hospice care and/or previously worked in a value-based care environment. Most importantly, candidates must demonstrate compassion for patient needs, have great attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment with rapid growth.
