Job SummaryWe are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist&rsquo;s office more efficient and pleasant for patients in our Clute, Texas office. You&rsquo;ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist&rsquo;s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist the dentist during clinical procedures</li><li>Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms</li><li>Take dental X-rays in compliance with state regulations</li><li>Perform chairside assisting and patient preparation</li><li>Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and charting</li><li>Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols</li><li>Provide excellent patient service and support front-office tasks as needed</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>No experience needed</li><li>Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods</li><li>Understanding of health &amp; safety regulations</li><li>Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing</li><li>Good computer skills</li><li>Excellent communication and people skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Well-organized and reliable</li><li>Dental assistant School Certification is needed</li><li>Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)</li></ul>Pay will be based on experience level.Being Bilingual is not necessary but a plus.Job Type: Part-timeJob Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 &ndash; 35 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
