The Urban Land Institute (&ldquo;ULI&rdquo;) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research and education organization supported by its members. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and managing social media content that enhances ULI global and America&rsquo;s regional thought leadership, influence, and brand awareness. This role involves creating compelling content, managing social media channels, engaging with ULI followers, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate will be creative, strategic, and proficient in using social media tools, analytics platforms, and design tools.

The salary range for this role is $78,986.00 - $85,898.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation and Management<ul><li>
Develop, draft, and publish approximately five posts per week with a primary focus on LinkedIn, followed my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.</li><li>
Collect, create, and collaborate on assets such as graphics, visuals, and storyboards. Creative responsibilities include light video editing, photography, and photo editing.</li><li>
Schedule and manage posts using Hootsuite or similar tools.</li><li>
Own, maintain, and regularly update the social media editorial calendar, adjusting based on performance data, engagement metrics, and business priorities.</li><li>
Represents ULI as a global organization and can liaise with regional and district council colleagues. Provides guidance on social media best practices, supporting brand compliance and strategic alignment among all parties.</li></ul>
Community Engagement<ul><li>
Actively engage with followers by liking, resharing, and commenting on content from regional offices, stakeholders, and district council pages.</li><li>
Monitor social media inboxes, promptly addressing and tracking incoming requests.</li></ul>
Operational Management/Reporting<ul><li>
Lead monthly social media standup meetings to review and plan content strategies.</li><li>
Distribute user-generated content to stakeholders and employees to increase engagement around key events using hashtags and graphics.</li><li>
Develop and implement best practices and guidelines for effective social media management.</li><li>
Develop and manage social media performance metrics dashboard and monthly report out.</li></ul>
Campaign Support and Strategy<ul><li>
Collaborate with internal teams to create weekly content that aligns with broader organizational goals, content theme, and narratives.</li><li>
Develop a proactive quarterly social media calendar in coordination with the VP of Digital Marketing and stakeholders, highlighting major themes, events, and milestones.</li><li>
Support bespoke campaigns focused on engagement tools for various stakeholder groups and employee engagement initiatives.</li><li>
Provide social media support to district councils, including guidance on creating Canva graphics and troubleshooting Hootsuite issues.</li></ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
4-7 years of experience in leading social media management for key organizational accounts.</li><li>
Creative skills, including art direction and the ability to create and edit graphics and video content.</li><li>
Strong understanding of real estate and/or global membership organizations.</li><li>
Should possess a keen attention to detail and demonstrate flexibility in fast-changing settings.</li><li>
Must have superior written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.</li><li>
Experienced copywriter capable of writing in various formats.</li><li>
Ability to create and edit graphics and video content.</li><li>
Proficiency in social media platforms, including Hootsuite, Canva, and analytics.</li><li>
Experience with paid social media strategies.</li><li>
Skilled at managing competing priorities under pressure.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Journalism, and/or other relevant fields.</li><li>
Prior experience in working in a digital media agency and brand campaigns and/or managing social media for political campaigns.</li><li>
Interest in the built environment (housing, commercial real estate, city revitalization, urban planning and development).</li></ul>
WORKING CONDITIONS:<ul><li>
Regular in-person attendance required at local events.</li><li>
Occasional national travel (1&ndash;2 times/year).</li><li>
Must lift up to 30 lbs., work extended hours for events, and sit/stand for prolonged periods.</li></ul><div>

 POSITION SUMMARY:
 
 
 
 This role is the primary day-to-day IT support contact for ULI staff. The Junior Systems Administrator serves as the frontline helpdesk and triage point, resolving common technical issues, coordinating tickets, and ensuring staff receive clear and friendly technology support.
 
 
 While the role includes exposure to Azure and enterprise systems, success is driven by organization, communication, and customer service skills. This position is ideal for an early-career IT professional who enjoys helping people and wants to grow into systems administration over time.
 
 
 
 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 
 Frontline Support &amp; Staff Interaction

 Provide frontline technical support to ULI staff via ServiceNow, ensuring tickets are documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a visible, in-office IT presence and trusted point of contact for staff support needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues (laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, conference rooms).
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide onsite IT support for major ULI regional meetings and events as needed.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Onboarding, Access &amp; Daily IT Operations
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Provision and deprovision user accounts, equipment, and access during onboarding and offboarding, including:

 Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

 Microsoft 365 and Single Sign-On (SSO)

 Manage the lifecycle of Dell and Apple laptops, including imaging, deployment, troubleshooting, and retirement.

 Assist with new-hire IT orientation and occasional staff training sessions.

 Maintain user-facing documentation and contribute to staff training materials.

 Coordination &amp; Team Collaboration

 Coordinate and triage requests to appropriate IT teams and specialists when escalation is required.

 Work with Network Administrators to ensure laptops are patched, secure, and operating effectively using Intune or similar tools.

 Assist with administration and maintenance of ULI&rsquo;s Microsoft Azure environment, including virtual machines and storage.

 Support backup and recovery processes under guidance from senior IT staff.

 Assist the Network Security Engineer with investigating and responding to security alerts and incidents.

 COMPENSATION:
 
 
 
 The salary range for this position is $55,781 to $66,625. Actual compensation will be based on experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is part of ULI&rsquo;s comprehensive compensation package, which includes competitive benefits.
