Summary of Responsibilities
 
 
Responsible for providing technical administrative support for the Maintenance Work Control processes with moderate supervision or direction. Researches and develops various facets of work package preparation for the planner&rsquo;s generation of work packages. Interfaces extensively with the Maintenance Mechanical and Electrical teams to ensure all materials and equipment are properly identified and are available for the completions of packages. Interface with other departments such as Warehouse and Procurement to ensure all material, resources, and equipment are available through SAP and are ready for execution of the work packages developed by the planners.
 
 
Education and Experience
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
 
Education : High School Diploma
 
 
Years of experience : 5+ years of related technical administrative support function in an industrial or commercial environment. Nuclear or Chemical industry is a plus.
 
 
Preferred:
 
 
Education : Associate's Degree
 
 
Years of experience : 7+ years of related work experience in an industrial or commercial environment. Chemical or Nuclear industry is a plus.

<ul><li>The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM .
</li><li>Work Schedule : 9/80 work schedule. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.

Primary Functions
</div><ul><li>Develops and executes planning and project scheduling of all resources to conduct maintenance activities which result in minimum downtime and maximum productivity.
</li><li>Apply effective execution of all maintenance work control processes.
</li><li>Development of maintenance work packages.
</li><li>Actively participate in work planning meetings to ensure all skill requirements and resources are available for scheduled work.
</li><li>Interface directly with Work Center Supervisors and other management personnel.
</li><li>With input from System Engineering and assistance as required from Lead Planner, create plant systems initial preventative maintenance planning, schedule, and performance of work packages through use of work package revisions and/or addendum, generation of subsequent/support work packages to correct emergent problems, and clarification of work package issues.
</li><li>Interface with various key customers such as Construction, Operations, and Procurement to ensure materials and equipment, parts are procured, stored, delivered, to include contingencies in a timely manner.
</li><li>Review work requests for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion date, proper lead times, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable), proper authorization, and discuss details with originator of the work order.
</li><li>Perform field verification of work requests for work package development.
</li><li>Review work package requests to determine the required in-process and post maintenance tests based upon the work to be performed.
</li><li>Determine what testing, both regulatory &amp; non-regulatory, and good maintenance practices should be applied to the work packages and route for verification.
</li><li>Correctly translate engineering design documents into maintenance work documents while maintaining the design basis of the plant in accordance with the configuration program, with assistance from Lead Planner, as required.
</li><li>Properly addressing modification and acceptance testing activities for modifications assigned.
</li><li>Provide the equipment-related expertise and technical guidance on improving Preventive Maintenance activities and work process support to maintenance technicians.
</li><li>Initiate procurement requests for new and obsolete equipment/components. Supply procurement engineering with technical field information to ensure that correct parts are procured.
</li><li>Continuously improve the job estimates and other planning activities by preparing and updating work packages to address shop feedback forms, condition reports, routine activities, reported deficiencies, or enhancement to ensure completion within the established deadlines and schedules.
</li><li>Track data for cost compilation and monitoring/analyzing productivity, critical path, risk analysis, and reporting.
</li><li>Issue scheduled work orders with work packages to supervisors, addressing any questions and update the work packages as required.
</li><li>Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provide timely reports, inputs and status updates for coordination requirements to the Maintenance Support Supervisor.

Senior Maintenance Planner

Come be a part of the future of clean energy. Summary of Responsibilities Supervise multi-disciplined, multi-skilled Maintenance personnel (electrical, mechanical, and maintenance support). Develop and implement various maintenance programs, procedures and activities at URENCO USA. Utilizing supervisory and craft knowledge, independently lead and direct maintenance tasks to maintain function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment. Provide leadership to maintenance personnel and manage daily operational and maintenance needs, coordinate activities and communicate updated information to management. Accountable for the supervision and leadership of site maintenance activities in a cost-effective manner while ensuring safety standards of self and team with an emphasis on industrial, plant and team safety standards, while maintaining compliance with nuclear regulatory standards and applicable Technical Specifications, Quality Assurance Procedures and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) facility licenses. This requires oversight of the planning and scheduling process to factor in field knowledge and experience, ensuring the safest and most cost-effective work strategy is selected, and maintaining accountability and productivity at a high level.
