<div><b>Front Desk Receptionist</b><b> </b><b>Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):</b></div>
<ul><li>Greet patients upon arrival and address questions and concerns</li>
<li>Answer incoming calls, provide information, transfer calls, and take messages as needed</li>
<li>Schedule appointments and manage multiple provider calendars</li>
<li>Register new patients and update existing patient demographics and financial information</li>
<li>Facilitate patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals, monitoring delays, and communicating updates to patients and staff</li>
<li>Maintain and update patient records through data entry, faxing, and scanning</li>
<li>Collect payments, including deductibles, coinsurance, balances, copays, and sales of OTC items</li>
<li>Review and update accounts receivable/payable changes since prior visits</li>
<li>Maintain an accurate log of orthotics received; contact patients for follow-ups and schedule appointments accordingly</li>
<li>Monitor office supply inventory, place orders, and coordinate equipment maintenance and service</li>
<li>Verify insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations in preparation for next-day appointments</li>
<li>Prepare and process daily reports, deposit slips, and upload financial records to shared files</li>
<li>Review billing claims and denials; gather required information from providers or patients to resolve issues</li>
<li>Support additional office tasks and projects as needed</li>
</ul><div><b>Front Desk Receptionist</b><b> </b><b>Required Skills and Experience:</b></div>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>2+ years of administrative support experience in a medical environment preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of health insurance processes, including pre-authorization, insurance verification, medical terminology, CPT codes and ICD-9/ ICD-10 coding preferred</li>
<li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, coworkers, and the public</li>
<li>Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high levels of patient satisfaction</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance at all times</li>

Front Desk Receptionist

<div><p>This is an on-site role. <b>Candidates must be local to Charleston, WV.</b> Relocation assistance is not available.</p>
<p>
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to independently manage and execute clinical trials at the site level. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day study operations, regulatory compliance, patient coordination, and data management in accordance with protocol, GCP guidelines, and internal SOPs.</p>
<p><b>
Job Purpose:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate research and administrative procedures for the successful management of clinical trials</li>
<li>Ensure SOPs are followed</li>
<li>Perform diverse administrative duties pertaining to clinical research</li>
<li>Manage trial operations</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Independently manage clinical trial operations from start-up through closeout</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with protocols, GCP, IRB, and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and IRB</li>
<li>Screen, consent, and enroll study participants</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely source documentation, CRFs, and regulatory files</li>
<li>Enter and manage data in EDC systems and CTMS</li>
<li>Track subject enrollment, retention, and follow-ups</li>
<li>Report adverse events (AEs/SAEs) within required timelines</li>
<li>Prepare for and support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections</li>
<li>Manage study supplies, equipment, and investigational product (IP)</li>
<li>Maintain regulatory binders and study documentation in audit-ready condition</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Required Skills and Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2+ years of Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) experience at a site level</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with:
<ul><li>EDC systems (e.g., Medidata, REDCap, etc.)</li>
<li>IRB submissions (initial, continuing review, closures)</li>
<li>Informed consent process</li>
<li>Adverse event reporting</li>
</ul></li><li>Strong understanding of:
<ul><li>Good Clinical Practice (GCP)</li>
<li>FDA and regulatory guidelines</li>
</ul></li><li>Experience managing multiple studies simultaneously</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field</li>
<li>Experience with CTMS systems</li>
<li>Current GCP certification</li>
</ul>
