A Brief Overview 
The Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of administrative, clerical, accounting, and related support functions for store operations and/or sales. 
 
What you will do 
<ul><li>
Perform various administrative functions including typing, filing, answering phones, preparing reports and maintaining records.</li><li>
Perform basic accounting functions such as invoicing, matching tickets, processing purchase orders, and functional payroll.</li><li>
Receive and date incoming production orders, process production tickets and maintain associated files as necessary.</li><li>
Operate the computer as needed for general reports and record keeping.</li><li>
Open and sort mail; process items as applicable.</li><li>
Order office supplies and keep records of associated costs.</li><li>
Maintain customer records.</li><li>
Provide information and assistance to customers both in person and on the telephone.</li></ul>

Ability to type accurately 50 WPM, clerical skills, use of computer and word processor, good communication skills and basic accounting and inventory principles.</li><li>
Confidentiality requirement-Frequently exposed to confidential information.</li></ul>

<div>Founded in 2003, Professional Builders Supply today operates locations in the Carolinas, selling, installing and distributing residential and commercial building materials such as lumber, siding, trim, doors, windows, decking and railing. The company also operates a truss manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina and provides turn-key installation services for multifamily applications through its PBS Commercial brand and for residential roofing and siding via SouthEnd Exteriors. 
 
A Brief Overview 
The Outside Sales Representative generates and secures new sales to increase the profitability of the company. This position maintains existing accounts while generating new business through cold calls and following leads. 
 
What you will do 
<ul><li>
Promote, sell, and secure new accounts for the company.</li><li>
Provide existing accounts with necessary products, time, and information.</li><li>
Assist with the selection of products best suited to customer needs.</li><li>
Prepare, coordinate, and communicate price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations to customers/contractors.</li><li>
Resolve customer complaints and problems.</li><li>
Assist in the collection of accounts receivable.</li><li>
Coordinate project schedules, contractor schedules, and material deliveries.</li><li>
Prepare and input orders as necessary.</li><li>
Informs company of competitive prices, products, and area-related information.</li><li>
Maintain current knowledge of daily and monthly sales and their relationship to budget and margin goals.</li><li>
Research and order special products as necessary.</li><li>
Estimate materials from blueprints supplied by customer/contractor.</li><li>
Adhere to Conflict of Interest or Non-Compete agreement if in place.</li><li>
Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.</li></ul>

Working knowledge of building materials industry and products, ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.</li><li>
Estimating from blueprints, ability to use calculator and computer.</li><li>
